Can we finally just end the meme and white knighting and admit that AMD is a blight on the PC community as a whole?
>Thousands of lines of assembly have been rewritten overnight to support AMD CPUs. Unfortunately whilst the code no longer relies on anything above SSE 2, Havok Physics still requires “Supplemental SSE 3”, which was not supported until “Bobcat” and above.

When I was raped at age 9 the man who did it was wearing a GMT
He took my virginity and I cried and begged him to stop
how can I learn to see analog watches without crying, has anyone had something similar happen?
Anyone have a Orient Ray/II? I am thinking of getting a watch that has a bracelet since it's summer and I sweat like a mother fucker. SNZG15J1 on Bond nato is my daily atm, any suggestions for someone that sweats like a mofo?
>>56067299
Now that's a nice watch.
Thinking of buying E-reader so I could study on a go, reading textbooks, review slides all that stuff.
I have never used one so I have no clue what to look at.
I see kindles from Amazon are industry standart, but I'm not willing to spend 60 eurobucks for their cheapest model.
What are some cheap alternatives with best price/quality ratio?
Are they useful overall?
Also can anyone tell me their experiences?
>>56066935
Had a good thread about them last week.
Basically get the $100 kindle if you just need to read ebook files and nothing else.
But considering you mention slides and textbooks, you will probably have to view graphics/images and pdf files. Ereaders are shit at those things. Seriously, just google 'ereader pdf' or something.
So you're much better off getting a cheap tablet instead.
I would not recommend an e-reader for textbooks. Many textbooks are in pdf format and ereaders suck at rendering pdfs. Ereaders are great for novels and text-only non-fiction.
Get a cheap-o 9.7 inch tablet. You can pick up a used HP Touchpad that will run the lastest android for $40 on fleabay.

Other business laptops are also welcome in /tpg/ (e.g. Dell Latitude/Precision, HP EliteBook/ZBook).
----
If you're looking for purchase advice, READ THE BUYERS GUIDE FIRST. Then post, stating budget and requirements (e.g. size and performance).
Don't buy anything OTHER THAN T, X AND W/P SERIES if you want the Real ThinkPad Experience™
Recommended models:
T420 - 14", normal size
X220 - 12.5", ultraportable
----
Why ThinkPad? (also applies to other business laptops)
>Used machines are plentiful and cheap.
>Excellent keyboards - tactile feel and quiet.
>Great durability: chassis uses a magnesium rollcage for structural integrity, with high quality plastic body panels.
>Utilitarian design: e.g. indicator LEDs, 7 row keyboard layout on older models.
>Docking stations that easily turns your laptop into a desktop.
>Easy to repair, upgrade and maintain thanks to readily available service manuals for every model. Spare parts are easy and cheap to obtain.
>The best trackpoint (that red thing in the middle of the keyboard). Great for those who type a lot or hate swiping their fingers all over a touchpad.
>Excellent GNU/Linux & *BSD support.

You are probably correct on the majority of what you are saying but I can confirm that you can get from an Enabled and Not Activated state to a Permanently Disabled state without remote code execution or an unlock key.
>Flashing an updated BIOS doesn't change this either so forget it
yup, Same applies for the BIOS password. Need to short in order to remove the password.
>Coreboot/Libreboot
It would most likely be coreboot since Libreboot does not support anything past the 2008 era due to changes in the way ME is baked in. Also, I wonder if there is any way to force a reflash/wipe of the security chips (similar to the shorting procedure used for the supervisor password)

The more I work on complex SPAs at work, the more I want to just make and use simple sites. Anyone feel this way? I've been challenging myself to keep bundle size as small as possible and speed as fast (while trying to keep experience similar).
Why don't Linux fags just use ndis wrapper to just install all windows drivers on Linux, like AMD drivers which are significantly worse on Linux

i'm under ants infestation and I dont want then into my electronics
How do I stop them and how to get them outside my internals!
Install gentoo
>>56084504
As long as they're not thief ants (which like protein instead of sweets) buy some fucking ant baits, strewn them around where their trails lie and wait a week or two for their colonies to die off.
This is as simple as it fucking gets.
>>56084504
Throw out the piss bottles
Clean up the food around your battlestation
Clean up the floor of your parents basement where you live
Clean the tables that you've kept the bottles of Mountain Dew that you were planning on turning into piss bottles
Throw out the mountain dew bottles
Wash the laundry that you've put off for three weeks, also at this point the sweat stains and cheeto residue probably isn't coming out. The same for the -ahem- stains in your dakimakura.
Throw out any posters with semen stains on them
Wash off any figurines with semen on them
Finally take a shower and check all the folds of fat on your body for things like discarded cheese sandwiches or used dildos
If you can keep your living area clean like this the ants will have nothing to eat and will move on. Good luck OP.
Already installed WinDir and found a lot of .tmp files from Spotify and Nitro PDF.
