If you are watching it in your PC then most of the latest media player will automatically upscale the video when you stretch it to fit the screen through settings

Now if you want to watch it on your Television, there are softwares that upscale the video to stretch and fit your TV's resolution/aspect ratio, some even have audio boosting features as well

i ask because my friend has a TV out in his shed we all hangout at in the backyard and i'd like to be able to play youtube videos on my phone data and send them to the TV. I am aware i could hardwire it with HDMI but that's restricting, and it's too far away to get an extender. also verizon mobile hotspot costs 30$ a month so fuck that.

i just thought of something though, what if i bring a laptop, tether my data with a different app and make the laptop a wifi hotspot?

This I bought a few months after I got my Wharfalde Diamond 3s that introduced me to speaker systems a few years ago. Pretty ok setup just that I prefer neutral shit over my boomy bass that overpowers stuff on some songs. Next time I will get some high end more neutral speakers. Dacs and Amps IDK about.. they dont always doTHAT much it seems, would hate to spend a lot on that sorta shit
