A friend of mine's father is an accountant on a big city council. He told me of the racket that is contract malware removal.
They were paying some guy $50k a year to run an antivirus scan on all their computers once a month. Kicker is this guy they contracted out to was doing this for a dozen other places.
Just show up, click a button to run a scan, go to the next PC, clock a button, so on and so forth. Making a few hundred grand per year. Basically robbing the business world blind save the fact that most people are actually too stupid to do it themselves.

Hey, /g/!
I'm a fa/tg/uy who wants to publish his own Pen & Paper RPG sometime soon. I have advanced far enough in development by now to start a product website soonly and I would like some advice regarding how to proceed from here.
As I see it, it's fine if the whole starts out merely as a developer's blog. However, I want the whole thing to be scalable in case the game is successfully launched: webshop, forums, banner ads, multi-lingual support, etc.
What technologies do I choose NOW to avoid excessive hassle LATER? A specific platform/CMS? Wordpress? TYPO3? Anything else?
You may assume solid programming skills, just no signifciant familiarity with HMTL/CSS/JavaScript/PHP/etc. Also, I would like to administrate the website with a medium amount of work for the foreseeable future - my focus is the actual product after all.
Can you help a neckbeard out?

Use Wordpress, it allows you to blog and have a basic website to start off. Then you can add Ecommerce with Woocommerce later on.
I setup the website for a new 3d printing company specializing in wargames. We tried a bunch of different systems but you can fit anything to wordpress so we went with that in the end.

Ok, I've never posted on this board and I'm in a shit load of trouble right now. So I have this 4-5 year old laptop, been through hell and back. I put Arch Linux on it. Customized it to my liking, I was in love. Then I don't use it for a few months, now every other time I turn it on the bios goes to 1/1/12 and the time starts from 0, all the settings are also factory default. Along with this, most of my customized shit is gone. Wtf do I even do.

Is there an android file manager with FTP support that is not Ghost Commander?
When I connect to FTP with it I can only enter folders, and in order to go up a level I have to reconnect to the server.
G wiki has nothing on this.

I upgraded my dell to win 10 and put an SSD on it. It worked fine for a few months but then started getting a lot of blue screens and missing BOOTMGR and "you need to reinstall windows c:\windows\some.exe/dll is missing" etc errors. After a restart, it starts ok. I'm trying to re-install win 10 on top of win 10 because I don't wanna lose any of my apps but everytime I start the win 10 installer it never finishes downloading because of all the blue screens I get every 15 mins. Any ideas? It's driving me crazy. Browser crashed 8 times while typing this.
