What you need to do is play loud music at the times when he is quiet (like in the middle of the night sleeping). Do that a few times and he might get the message. Either that or he comes around and complains and you can go 'Ha!' and tell him why. If you just go and complain to him it can escalate. You could ask nicely but it doesn't always work.

I'm a poorfag and I've been saving up for a new GPU. I'm thinking about getting a 1060 3GB. I don't care about running every new AAA game at 4K60FPS, just something that will let me run games like TF2 and Skyrim at a tolerable framerate without making it look like a PS1 game. How much of a bottleneck will I get with my current toaster?

I've tried Ubuntu which is memed by you guys to be easy for tech-illiterate normies but I fail to make it do what I want. wanted to uninstall Amazon spyware - failed. wanted to install GCC 6.2 - failed. wanted to use another desktop manager, failed. do I have to become really good at using bash and apt first before you can enjoy linux?

I don't know if anyone else here has trouble with this but sometimes when I hit the ctrl key I don't always see my mouse pointer right away.
I have a large dual monitor setup and I'd like to be able to change the animation to something more visible than a shitty grey circle.
