So far I've made this pesudo code so far:
http://pastebin.com/AbAXgnAX
What i'm stuck on is how to make a while loop without the program knowing the amount of entered characters, is there some way to make a counter for the users input while still using an array? (I think it be easier without one)

Why are you using an array? Just read from stdin and use getchar() https://en.m.wikibooks.org/wiki/C_Programming/C_Reference/stdio.h/getchar
>>57650363
Have it run through until it encounters the end of string character, I think its \0

we have to for the assignment
What do you guys think about Windows Explorer?
Build 9600 is the superior design.
Just werks, nothing special.
>>57650165
A a macOS user, I miss it. Sorting files and navigating your file system is very straightforward. I almost never use tabs in Finder, and window snap in Windows is just so convenient.
Explorer is a damn fine file manager.
How do you secure your accounts and data /g/? How hard would it be for someone to get to your accounts and data?
Nice try NSA
The only valuable data I have are my photos. Those are locally backed up.
I keep my passwords in a kdbx file and change them every couple months.
I use diceware for all my passwords
Do you guys put stickers on your tech?
Is it a neat way to express yourself and indulge your interests, or a cringey tryhard attempt to be noticed?
yes

Only on my laptop
Hi. The new MacBook got me thinking about PC ports. I'm curious what you guys plug in/out.
>Ports your PC has
>Ports you ACTUALLY use and what you use them for
I'll start (laptop):
>My PC ports
>Ethernet
>VGA
>HDMI OUT
>HDMI IN
>3 x USB 3.0
>SPDIF
>Microphone
>2 x 3.5 mm headphone port
>eSATA
>2x USB 2.0
>SD slot
>DVD-Drive
>A/C power port
I only use the USB port for my wireless mouse. 3.5 mm for music obviously. Occasionally use the HDMI OUT to plug in to my TV.
1. Not sure, too lazy to look, most that also you have.
2. I use the USB to transfer data from my phone to my PC. Thats it.
I`ve been thinking about getting a Macbook Pro when(if) my X220 dies.
>USB-C

Laptop
>Hdmi
>2x USB 3.0
>1x USB 2.0
>SD Card reader
>3.5mm audio
I frequently use all of them.
Main PC
6 x USB 3.0
2 x Ethernet
2 x line out (headphones)
2 x line in (microphone)
2 x other dolby 7.1 outputs
1 x USB type c
4 x hdmi
2 x display ports
2 x dvi
1 x ps2
2 x wifi antenna
1 x spdif
Right now, im only using 4 of 6 usb 3.0, 1 ethernet, both wifi antennas, and 1 dvi.

What went wrong?
I blame the British.
>>57649742
everybody uses all the browsers now, nothing went wrong, faggots install all chrome firefox opera etc.
fucking savages xD
>>57649742
they changed the rendering engine and then sold it to the chinese. i don't really see what's wrong with it except for privacy issues, it works on my pc
would /g/ mind explaining to me why these aren't everywhere? i'm not sure if they're even possible.
tl;dr: ethernet on one end, wi-fi connection on the other, to connect dumb devices to the internet. some way of passing credentials over.

How about you use google before asking a question. If you must ask a question ask it in /sqt/.
Now kill yourself.

i was using the wrong terminology, it seems.
why are you so angry?
i do that with my retro crap and ps4 (works better than the shit onboard wireless). small travel router with openwrt in bridge mode

Why does the tech community seem to have more transsexuals than the general population? Or is it just that I'm more exposed to them? Every day I'm reading a GitHub issue thread and I spot one (it's usually obvious because of the pink hair)
What's going on /g/uys?
>>57649380
I don't consider pink haired transsexuals to be part of the tech community because none of them have ever written anything of value.
All they do is complain about your pronoun usage in code and partake in tone policing campaigns over Twitter where they attempt to ruin your public reputation if you stand up to them.
>>57649380
They only seem to be so many because they need a lot of attention.
And most of them cant code anyway just js html css and other gay stuff
If they could code they would be coding and not complaining so often.
So... what can I actually do with this stupid thing?
>>57649271
stick it up your bum bum
>>57649271
You can do anything with...
You have to get the final part to get it working, A BRAIN
So my PS3 fat MGS4 edition has been making a lot of noise lately (fan), so I just opened it all up, cleaned it, replace the thermal paste with arctic silver 5.... but it still is pretty noisy.
You guys have any idea what else I could do? Tried to find out on google for a couple of days now but I tried everything people suggest.

>My fan is bad
>Do a lot of things inside for heat, but don't change fan.
Well jeez maybe change the fan.
>>57649294
This, if it uses a non standard connector just solder the existing wires on to the new fan.
>>57649258
Get a psu and custom mount a liquid cpu cooler to it.
Lucky you my ps3 died exactly 1 week after the warranty expired in 2008. Mgs4 was an underrated game.
Britfag here. What can I do to protect myself against the Snooper's Charter?

What every government (yes, yours as well) is already doing illegally, made legal.
All I want for Christmas is a GTX 1070 (can't afford a 1080).
But I'm far from an expert on the actual manufacturers. Should I go with Gigabyte, MSI, or EVGA? Or is there another manufacturer I should look into? My current GPU (GTX 760) is an EVGA, but I've heard EVGA cards tend to have heat issues.
>>57649002
I can't use Google and read blogs and reviews, so I demand that anon tell me how to make shitty choices
>>57649002
I would go for the EVGA. Ignore all the overheating troll posts you may see.
>>57649089
I can use google to read blogs and reviews, and I have.
I just trust my fellow autists on this japanese imageboard more than any certified reviewer
