Hello /G/ !
I would like you to have little competition.
Or actually, to do me a favor :D
Could you guys make some computer build-up's?
I can't be 100% sure about components actually fitting, cuz in Finland, we do not have sites like pcpartspicker or those, so im kinda lost, trying to make figure out what components to use to build pc for me.
I use pc for producing music.
I know that i need i-5 or i-7 processor and 16gb ram, but i do not know about cooling, modding (to make it look cool). I sound like an idiot, but please try to help me if you have little spare time.
I Will reply to any q's.
Thanks in advance

Which addons do I need to survive the botnet?
Will my greasemonkey scripts still work?
Do I need to be logged into Google to install addons?
>>57654972
uBlock Origin
HTTPS Everywhere
Privacy Badger
You don't need to be logged in into anywhere to install these.
If you want to put a *lot* more effort into this, try uBlock Matrix additionally. But care, its a shitload of stuff to configure over the time.
>>57654972
>implying Chrome/Chromium-based isn't the botnet itself developed by an advertising company
Greasemonkey scripts are usually cross-browser so they should work, and it's not exactly hard to test. You don't need to be logged in to install extensions, but for some of the Chromium forks you'll need to use http://chrome-extension-downloader.com/
All your greasemonkey scripts Work with Violent Money using less resources and giving you best control out of them
ITT we post things we want to buy and people tell us why were wrong

>it's almost 2017
>he still buys """"thermal paste"""" instead of getting a jar of pure silicon grease
It is enough for the lifetime of 3 generations and works just as good if not better than the snek oil... It's not the paste that conducts the heat. It doesn't matter if it has silver or gold or whatever jewmetal particles in it. It is only used to fill out imperfections of the metal surfaces of the CPU and the heatsink. Silicone grease is designed to be used in high temp environments so it doesn't melt or dry out. Throw your arctic bullshit out, go to the hardware store and get silicon grease.
Silicone or silicon? Pick one, dammit.

>>57654544
I'm just starting to use VMware since it's what we use as a vendor for our services and it's pretty much industry standard.
What will I be using it for? My company does a ton of offsite sysadmin work as well as networking so I'm getting additional practice with Server 2012, AD, GPOs, working with Cisco Meraki switches, and probably messing with weeam
exsi 6.5 w/vcenter is love.
What browser should I use on Linux? What's the best one?
firefox
>>57654594
But it's slow
>>57654539
Linux is a kernel, it has no browsers; it's using modules.
Buying Samsung Gear iconX from bestbuy. I have $150 gift card from there for exchanging my note 7. Should i buy them black friday or cyber monday? Which day do they normally have better sales?
Don't waste your money on those fucking things! Are you crazy? They sound like absolute trash, they're too quiet to listen to while, say, riding a bus, and they last for about 45 minutes before one of them craps out.
>>57654858
Any better suggestions? And as said before i have a $150 gift card so they wont be anywhere near 200

If you're looking for wireless earbuds, you could get some JayBird X2. They sound amazing, last way longer, and come with lots of free stuff (a carrying case, rubber fins, foam and rubber tips, etc).
If you're looking to spend less on wireless earbuds, though, you could also get some Skullcandy Smokin' Buds 2 (Wireless). They're a bit bass-heavy but they're like $35 and they actually sound pretty great for that price. And the battery lasts about as long as the X2s; maybe 6-8 hours depending on usage. The Skullcandy ones are also super comfortable.
But don't buy the ones you posted.
hahahahahaha did my ram just take a shit
does a 4gb survive in this cold world
I have 2GB.
>>57654488
Shared VRAM?
If you're a pleb, even 2GB can be usable.
