I don't know how to program. I understand the concepts, but I'd like to learn a simple language to get my feet wet. I don't intend to make games or anything like that, just wana learn.
Anyone know of any simple beginners languages that are useful today?

Just go with Java.
C is beautiful to me, and you can still learn it, even if you're a beginner, but you don't sound like you wanna be bothered that much. So Java should suit you well, as far as getting the feet wet goes.

I never installed PulseAudio, fuck that piece of shit.
Everything was working with just ALSA until I tried to update Firefox-dev.
Now I get no sound and this message everytime it tries to play something.
