So, I made a game some years back in windows which was a 3D version of the flash game Shift using only old opengl with primitives, the code was terrible, and now I cleaned the renderer started all over, it used to run with 60fps locked, now it runs at 400fps with Nvidia gtx 960m with open source drivers. Here's a screenshot, I may share the windows executable, not the linux version yet, cause the code is still horrible in the parts made in windows.

I have a mid 2012 MBP with an Intel Core i7, 8GB of RAM, 750GB HDD. I got it for $850 almost 3 years ago, which wad a very good deal. It has Boot Camp with half of the storage for MacOS Sierra and half for Windows 10. The Surface Pro 4 seems to have a lot of good sales recently. I'm wondering if I should sell this thing and get one of those. My device's chassis is a bit scratched up (but the screen is all safe) so it can be sold for about $600 or less. However, the common, more affordable configurations for the Surface Pro 4 is i5 and 128/265GB SSD with 8GB of RAM, a bit less than my current MBP. I'm an Engineering student by the way.
Is it worth switching or should I just reconfigure my MBP so that the Windows partition takes up most of the hard drive? I barely use the Mac side ever since the thing got Boot Camp'd.
