Does OS X do some stupid scaling bullshit to it's programs when on a hi resolution display? On windows and linux you can turn simply turn scaling off when having a 4k or 5k screen so you don't have to worry about a "muddy" or "blurry" digital drawing "app"

I had a telephone interview for a graduate job today and I have mixed feelings about it.
In terms of technical skills and experience I have it all and then some but I kind of stammered when asked to talk about myself and ended up saying something like "me passionate about computerz and technologi hurr durr"
I aced the rest of the interview though but I just feel like the interviewer expected a longer description of myself and I might have left him thinking I'm retarded.

What ever happens you can always take a lesson from it. Since there is nothing you can do now why not enjoy the time instead of stressing?
Escapism will help big time in this scenario, trust me.
I remember the day before my HSC examination result was published. I was very stressed because my family had a very high expectation on me. My father took me out to watch a cricket match. Even though I was annoyed I later gave in.
The result published and I was relieved to see I got high distinction in each 12 subjects that I took.
Tldr: Forget about it

I know this isn't /tech support/ but you guys are my only friends.

What I did
> Reinstall windows, delete grub in the process, reinstall all my programs all of which I already had the last time.

What I tried to fix it
> Disable relevant BIOS settings (wake on lan etc)
> Disable wake on lan from within windows, with the device manager
> Disable all autostart programs just in case
> Disable hybrid sleep and wake timer
> Boot linux from a thumb drive, shut it down -> to see if that would temporary fix it -> it didn't
Everything else is running fine.
I'm at a loss here.
