You should have installed gentoo.

Why does my phone communicate so much with the botnet?
>>57853797
you have google play services. if you can live without gapps definitely just titanium backup that shit out of your phone. otherwise, enjoy your shit battery life
>>57853894
But gplay literally has all the apps?
>>57854589
If you want to use android without jumping through billion hoops to install something then you'll have to accept that your phone will send everything to NSA.
I've been using Arch for about a year and a half and I'm ready to use it as my main OS on my laptop. What Office Suites for linux are good? What about compatibility with MS Word? Keep in mind I mostly use word processors for work and school.
>>57853782
libreoffice is the only one of note that manages to keep functionality. Openoffice used to be good but I believe
>Oracle
ruined everything
You should keep dual booting though, you never know
>>57853782
Office 2007 just works in ubuntu mate + playonlinux
don't expect perfect compatability with docx- Microsoft refuses to properly support open formats, and their own formats are specifically designed to be difficult to decode.

There is literally no (NO) reason to use more than 8GB on a phone.
>music
>movies
>photos

>games
All fine for 8GB. Why pay more?

Because I'm not a poorfag NEET like you.

Redpill me on golang, /g/. Let's say I'm coming from Rails. Is it worth learning? Can it replace Ruby in general?
>>57853479
A lot of people use Rails 'front end' and Go for the backend/systemy shit. For example the site memorycorruption.com is done this way.
Go is really good tool for specific things. Depends what you want to do, get the Kernighan book http://www.gopl.io/
Go is one of the best programming languages out there. For every criticism of Go, there are ten more criticisms for the alternatives to Go.
It's a meme
>tfw you fell for the w10 botnet but you need dx12 for games
>>57853209
We really should push companies to support Vulkan API instead of or at least along side DirectX IMO. Like I don't think we will ever break from this if we don't push hard for change.

So what happens when burglars realize people aren't always home because of one of these?
What happens when they realize there's a 10 feet deep hole under carpet?

They start wondering how long the video it's taking of them is being kept.

Switched my browser from ungoogled Firefox to ungoogled Chromium and it's so much faster with exactly the same extensions.
Why haven't you left Firefucks yet /g/?
>inb4 tree-style tabs
It's the only thing I miss.
>>57853087
it's also broken because every other https site gets blocked due to some certificate bug
>>57853121
Yeah I noticed that too.
I had to use a separate browser to initially connect to public networks (Train station, Starbucks, etc. I commute a fair bit for uni and work).
Whereas on Chromium it allowed me to still connect to them properly.
Also, since Chromium is such a pain in the ass on Windows what's a good alternative that's still ungoogled/ungooglable?
On my Windows Machine I'm using Waterfox at the minute.
