>Citing an enormous potential to reduce crashes on U.S. roadways, the U.S. Department of Transportation issued a proposed rule today that would advance the deployment of connected vehicle technologies throughout the U.S. light vehicle fleet. The Notice of Proposed Rulemaking would enable vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) communication technology on all new light-duty vehicles, enabling a multitude of new crash-avoidance applications that, once fully deployed, could prevent hundreds of thousands of crashes every year by helping vehicles “talk” to each other.
>“We are carrying the ball as far as we can to realize the potential of transportation technology to save lives,” said U.S. Transportation Secretary Anthony Foxx. “This long promised V2V rule is the next step in that progression. Once deployed, V2V will provide 360-degree situational awareness on the road and will help us enhance vehicle safety.”

Be honest--do you regularly use any Apple products?
I have a 160GB 6th Generation iPod Classic that I've used regularly since it's release. Battery is surprisingly still holding strong.
>>57988045
I have the entire apple lineup
Come at me Thinkpadfags
I have an iPhone 4S that I bought for cheap. Still works fine after like 6 years, and battery is still great.
>AMD is going to CRUSH Intel/Nvidia with this new thing that is coming out in the future!
How can anyone still believe this? Like do you not have memory of the past 10 years?
Agreed. It's always "Just wait for the future guyz" with AMD.
AMD has done an amazing job at securing a fan base.
I just don't understand how the fuck they did it. They could have Punjab squat on stage and shit out a long thick turd and call that their flagship and the internet would go crazy over it.

Battered Wife syndrome
No matter how many times they are beaten they always think the husband will change or that it was their or some external fault that caused them to act in that way.
Fanboyism is truly a sad thing to watch
I want to go back to a time we all would just call out memes like AMD saying their processor "can learn"
I want to pay tribute to OS X Tiger, the absolute peak of desktop operative systems. There will never be another OS as robust and balanced as that. I'm almost tearing by thinking how shit all current OSes are.

having my USB HDD plugged in messes up my boot. It tries to do then "windows is loading files" thing for no reason (there's no boot media on any drive etc) and then complains about startup being busted. When I remove the drive everything is kosher. The mobo is a MSI X99A Raider and the HDD is a WD Elements or something, 3TB. The HDD isn't even listed anywhere when I go to BIOS, and the #1 boot choice is the Windows loader or whatever. What am I not getting? A normal USB stick being plugged does not mess up the boot.
I'm debating getting a few 32-128gb flash drives to install linux onto as a way to test several distros at a time. Would this be an efficient way? Once I get them and find a few that I like, I want to be able to plug them in and boot from them as a way to run Linux without worrying about repartitioning drives every time. Essentially using them as external hard drives to use a personalized OS on any computer I come into contact with that isn't my own. Will this even work?
Will it affect my chances of getting hired at a typical tech company if I hotbox my car in the parking lot right before my interview? I find that doing this helps a lot to calm my nerves.

I'm using Iridium browser and Facebook is broken, I can't see all my contacts in the chat box and every time I try to send a picture it says it's not a valid image file. I already gave permission for Facebook to set cookies and still nothing. This started out of nowhere, it was working fine yesterday. I tried with Chromium and got the same result, but Icecat and other Firefox-based browsers work fine.
