What did you do to focus just in one IT-field?
Computer repair technician. Currently studying for my A+ cert and hopefully will start an apprenticeship somewhere after that.

Why u didnt study the CS degree?
>>58008250
Too saturated. While there are millions of pajeets ready to replace you dipshits with half assed code, the story is not the same for the guys repairing broken hardware.
i'm sure you guys know about avatar: the last airbender. so i was wondering, what if instead of 4 elements, they were 4 coding languages? what would you name as water, earth, fire and air?
Python, C++, Java, Swift
But everything changed when the Java nation attacked

Bought 3 EVO 1TB for $600 shipped.
Did I fall for the meme, /g/?
That model is pretty sweet f+ampai

I know how Java and C++ work. I know you can make classes and objects to split the code up and make the code more flexible and maintainable.
I know about arrays and recursion and sorting algs and all this other applied shit that you can use to make programs
But I don't have any actual experience making actual programs. Useful ones like game and calculators and apps and all that shit. And i have no idea how to get started.
So I'm asking for some resources on mini 'projects' that will let me get my feet in the water and actually know how to use all the stuff in a way that is effective and leads to an actual program.
And this is most important for objects. I know the concept objects but I don't know how to actually apply them. Once I tried making chess, and naturally I thought I would have an Piece object and then every time of piece inheriting from it. But even though I think I had the right idea, I didn't know how to implement it and what code should go where.
I can probably make chess in one class and it would basically be a loop that works while both kings can still move, but I feel like it would be a retarded program to write that most expierienced programmers would laugh at if they ever saw it.
Pls help, thanks

start with English language first, Pajeet.

> I can probably make chess in one class and it would basically be a loop that works while both kings can still move, but I feel like it would be a retarded program to write that most expierienced programmers would laugh at if they ever saw it.
You would be retarded to think that a program you're going to write, without experience, would be something that most experienced programmers would consider even mildly impressive.
Write the chess program. It will probably be a clusterfuck when you finish. Before you start writing the program, think about the structure, the necessary objects, the structure of the data you will use. Write tests first or in parallel with the chess. When your clusterfuck is ready, tested and working, refactor it, add/remove comments, make it work more efficiently, find a more elegant solution. The only thing keeping you back is you thinking your first actual program would be something special, but the thought is just plain retarded. If the chess program is so simple, you'd finish it in a day for sure. From there on do whatever feels harder: write an algorithm to solve a rubik's cube, for example. And don't go looking for standard algorithms, solve it yourself.
Why no one is talking about this? It's actually usable now. And no ublock origin is not enough

But I also use uMatrix

a lot of social and google shit is still leaking through "tracking list by Disconnect" not to mention more obscure sites you visit. Install and check in half an hour of casual browsing.
Is there a way to crack WPA2 encrypted wifi passwords?
Don't think I'll be able to afford internet next month and there's like 10+ wifis around me I could try to perhaps brute force.
>>58007996
the only shortcut is WPS, you might get lucky and they have an easily crackable dictionary password or 8 digit one all lowercase with no symbols.
>>58007996
>bruteforce wpa2
No, either try to social engineer into this shit or try to get physical access and switch the network to wps
1. Evil twin attack
2. Capture a lot of handshakes and have a good wordlist
3. social engineering
Now, it's been 9 hours since I did my newest windows 7 fresh install and hit the windows update and still nothing.
I'm thinking about an upgrade just so I don't need to go over this anymore.
this must've been deliberatly done by microcucks.
c'mon this is bullshit
>>58008686
over TEN hours.
Lrn 2 Windows 7 update rollup. It exists for EXACTLY this reason. Just google Win 7 update rollup and find out how to install it. The one I used includes every SP1 update up to May of 2016
Show me what you got
I got 8" dick.

>The way this entire operation works is by crooks buying ads on legitimate websites. The attackers insert malicious JavaScript in these ads, which use a WebRTC request to a Mozilla STUN server to determine the user's local IP address.
>Based on this local IP address, the malicious code can determine if the user is on a local network managed by a small home router, and continue the attack. If this check fails, the attackers just show a random legitimate ad and move on.
>For the victims the crooks deem valuable, the attack chain continues. These users receive a tainted ad which redirects them to the DNSChanger EK home, where the actual exploitation begins.
Can't you just reset your router lol?
>>58007920
>by a small home router
The fuck does this even mean? Consumer network gateways run a variety of firmwares. What if there was a vulnerability in a Cisco gateway? Would they leave it alone?
>>58007920
Chitoge really changed after the end of Nisekoi
Anyway, just use adblock, common sense and (if you're windowsfag) purchase Avira antivirus and Malwarebytes
Latest chrome update seems to have disabled the flag to turn off material design. Any idea how to disable this garbage?

When did you realize this is the best language?
Always
At the letter G
>>58007670
But Go isn't D, how can it be the best language?
I was bored and decided to waste some time getting in touch with my inner hipster. Dug out my Minidisc player. The compression sounds surprisingly good. Even LP2 sounds decent enough. Not very practical to use today, but the discs still look cool.
Anyone else still got a MD player? In working condition? Do you still use it?
Have 2 working units, use one occasionally when heading out somewhere a fancier unit might be at a risk of getting smashed or nicked. Should've stocked up on those HiMD disks while they still were available. Funnily enough I did see normal MD blanks for sale a couple of years ago but have not seen HiMD ones.
I have a Sony MZ-R55, it's still working but the battery is gone.
>>58007903
I have an MZ-R35
Same issue, but the player came with an addon so you could use AAA batteries.
