Not OP but in a similar boat. 18 years old and wanting to get an entry-level IT gig. Will an A+ and maybe an MTA or something be sufficient to get me a help desk position? I have no related job experience, but plenty of personal experience with setting up servers and troubleshooting hardware and software issues, etc.

So me and my brother decided to dig up the old PS2 to play some old games. It's been buried away for like 7 years. We played for a while, saved the game and then we looked through the memorycards savefiles to see what we had.
Then we got to the savefile we just made, and noticed it got the date and time of day 100% correct.
How the fuck does that work? How does it know EXACTLY what date it is, and EXACTLY what time of day it is, when it doesn't have an internet connection or even power for 7 years?
Is it magic?

I recently finished installing an update on my system, and restarted it as needed.
When my system was booting back up upon restart, it was stuck on the Windows loading screen, so I hard reset my computer, and now Windows will not boot.
Am I fucked? After the ASUS screen it's just a blinking white cursor.
What should I do?

Why is every new computer shit? Apple MacBook. Dell XPS. HP Spectre. They're all crap. And I don't want a ThinkPad because they're all crap.
And what isn't crap? Gateway. Why did Gateway die? Gateway made better computers than anyone else. Light years better than even Kaby Lake PCs in the market today. I'm still using a 2007 Gateway running FreeBSD 11 (just upgraded a few days ago) and am going to continue to milk my Gateway forever.
