Just found out that MS still allows free Windows 10 upgrades.

Less likely to have malware from the devs, $0 for all apps on there, and privacy. You are able to make your own "appstore" to share apps with your friends if you would like.
Downside is the apps aren't signed by the developers but rather the fdoid team. That's a central point of failure. Google playstore has apps signed by the devs.

aptoide updated the ui recently. looks good. Also updating the apps looks trusted because they show your the apps with the same developer's signature which is compared with the dev signature on the device you're on.

You guys probably know AdNauseam by now.
Here's a better idea:
A small program that loads a list of 10,000 popular websites, crawls them specifically looking for advertisements, and clicks all it can find. You could run an instance in the background, and with a fast enough connection and unlimited bandwidth you could cause some damage.
If enough people start using it in the background, prices per click would take a nosedive, possibly causing huge losses to many advertising networks.
What could go wrong?

It sounds like a good way to get blacklisted from those popular sites. I guess you could change your IP if you have dynamic but eh.
Doing what you're describing isn't very nice behaviour. It's much easier to just block the ads outright and not deal with them in the first place.
