In the last thread, somebody adviced me the etymotic earbuds, but do they completely cut off the voices, or will I still ear them ?
Do you mean real voices of people around you or schizo voices
both
>>58471553
Who are you replying to?
Which one should I get? Which one do you use?
Guess I was expecting too much from /g/. This board must really be full of neets who would have no use for one.

>graphing calculator
are you 17?
If it weren't so terrible, I would use Windows on my home computer if not solely for the libraries feature.
> the OS telling me where to put my files
I've been insulted by this shit since 12.
>>58470229
Did you ever bother to learn how to use it? It's a neat feature. Otherwise add some actual directories to your Favourites.

I was part of the team who assembled the very first cables. We just grabbed some shitty copper cable from old Ethernet cables and shoved it into a crudely made connector
Whenever I play audio or video in chrome, I get artifacts and sound glitches. Pic related. The sound glitches sound like quick robot orgasms. But they're inconsistent, I either get visual artifacts, or robot orgasms, rarely both.
Firefox is fine but I use Steams in game browser to listen to music while I'm playing games so yeah.
>>58469409
Well, that obviously proves the fact that chrome is the ünderbrowser and firefox is the master browser race

I recently watercooled my R9 290 with the NZXT Kraken G10, although my temps are still what they were with the Gigabyte cooler. I easily reach mid-90's while gayming and while I'm not overly concerned about the heat, I am a little upset that I can't seem to get much cooler results. I have tried switching the radiator fan from intake and exhaust and it makes no difference. I have reseated the cooler (H55) twice with different thermal compound with the same results. I feel like the cooler isn't making contact with the die but when I look through to try to see I cannot, so it must be seated correctly? Essentially what I have is a silent R9 290 which is all well and good but I am missing the cooling half. Can anyone help me out?
its leaking probably who knows
if you've placed it properly on the card then it's not transferring the heat properly

VRM1 needs to be cooled.
Anyone ever used one of these on a rx480? I burnt my last one up, no, I'm not kidding. Ethereum mining is quite intensive.

Switch uses an Nvidia Tegra X1, downclocked (meaning slower than it's made for)
http://arstechnica.com/gaming/2016/12/nintendo-switch-nvidia-tegra-x1-specs-speed/
Another device running a Tegra X1 (but running at full capacity. not downclocked) is the Pixel C tablet:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pixel_C
The battery life on the Switch: 2.5 hours when running demanding games, and 6.5 hours maximum when running small games like 2D pixelated old games.
The Pixel C tablet that has the same chipset and at full speed, has a battery life of 5 hours when running continuous benchmark (meaning, the heaviest software there is), and has a maximum battery life of 13 hours (when lightweight software) like wifi browsing or wifi video streaming.
http://www.anandtech.com/show/9972/the-google-pixel-c-review/6
There is ZERO excuse for Nintendo's new device to be so underpowered, and for a handheld device to have such a SHIT battery life even though the chipset is downclocked.
You're gonna have to carry a bunch of powerbanks to charge your Switch while you're playing.
Not to mention the resolution of the tablet vs. the switch.

Think you're lost friend.
You rub a lamp you find at a thrift store and a genie comes out. He says to you:
>I can completely crush the future of either ARM or x86_64 forever, but only if you choose one and only one, but also explain WHY and provide a worthy successor
what do you do?
can you make me a real girl instead
Tell the fucker that's not how it works and demand my three wishes or I will fucking cast his lamp into the fires of Mount Doom.
