If AMD gives them a good deal then why not?
>>59006326
They already use AMD graphics though?
of course not, the power savings gains of Kaby lake were just way too much to ignore
Ryzen has low-voltage options on the map but nothing that compares with 15w for just about Intel 2500 performance
Intel is focusing on lowering the power of their quad core laptop CPUs soon too
I have 150$ to spend on a Sound System to cover a room no larger than your average college dorm. Does /g/ have any good recommendations? Or would I just be better off getting a portable speaker?
Should go suck a few dicks to up the budget or you know... Logitech.
>>59006269
a battery powered bluetooth speaker will suit you just fine, 20watts will be plenty. It can be portable and waterproof and shit too and still stay within your budget.
A pair of these if you can find them, and some cheap amplifier.

Is Bayesian Inference and Bayes Networks are considered Artificial Intelligence. At what point an algorithm becomes an AI?

Do you even know what the fuck you are talking about? I suggest you go and find a good book on the topic.
Start with AIMA and branch from there.

I'm working on an ITS (intelligent tutoring system).
AI is not a monolithic bloc, I understand that.
Russell wrote
>Some researchers aim to emulate human cognition, others aim at the creation of intelligence without concern for human characteristics, and still others aim to create useful artifacts without concern for abstract notions of intelligence.
I'm using simple BN in order to achieve personalize learning. The point is, I consider my project more as a Expert System than an AI system.
What does it takes to make it "AI approved"?
Everyone claims that their ITS is made with an artificial intelligence... But I'm wondering what made their ITS an AI system...

Is there a security flaw in linking a Steam account to uPlay that makes it easier to "hack" an account? I changed my password, activated 2-step verification and unlinked all my other accounts but now I'm genuinely worried that some script kiddie can easily come along and steal my account
He didn't even change my password so I suspect me he didn't even have the original password to begin with, which means he used the Steam login authenticator to get into my account... but that just brings up more questions.
Is my Steam account compromised as well?
>Have you ever had an account hacked?
No, I'm not mentally retarded.

Have you ever been unfortunately on the wrong end of a security flaw you were unaware of?

Worse. Once I have my website hacked when I was trying WordPress. Never again, let me tell you that much. It even appeared in one of those deface mirrors. Fucking pathetic.

Guts thread. Post 'em. Added an NVMe drive as my boot drive, 2 1tb m600 SSDs in raid 0 for storage and went back to the stock heatsink on my 980ti as I'm somehow getting better temps with that?
First time I've ever been able to post in one of these.
On the to-do list
-500GB SSD for programs
-280mm AIO to free up air for my GPU
-Better RAM
-Better camera

If you would like to try out GNU/Linux you can do one of the following:
0) Install a GNU/Linux distribution of your choice in a Virtual Machine.
1) Use a live image and to boot directly into the GNU/Linux distribution without installing anything.
2) Dual boot the GNU/Linux distribution of your choice along with Windows or Mac.
3) Go balls deep and replace everything with GNU/Linux.

First for Arch Linux.
First for Source Mage GNU/Linux
>Arch Linux
>Arch Linux doesn't provide anything special. People often claim it's "customizable", but it's no more customizable than Ubuntu itself. The community is also very unwelcoming to people who want to customize it beyond what the devs intended.
>There's claims of it being "lightweight", but a debian netinstall is smaller than a base Arch Linux installation. This is mostly due to Arch Linux including development headers in all their packages, which is completely unneeded for a binary package distribution.
>An email from an Arch Linux dev on Arch Linux
