All my smartphones except my current have had an SD slot, I never used it except to load a ROM.

I left my SIII on the roof of my car, and drove off. Took me over an hour to find it again, it was laying in a 3" deep puddle. Took it apart, washed it in distilled water, dried it out, and its been working fine till this day. And that was 5 years ago.
