I've been always wondering, what would happen if, while the computer is on full load, you removed some of the vital parts on the build, like the CPU or RAM.

How fucked do you think my prebuilt amazon PC will be on arrival, /g/? Mommy works at post office- apparently it slid off the tub full of packages. I'm thinking that the only thing at risk would be the CPU due to heats ink and fan since there is no gpu in the pci e and it's ssd.

Are magnet links the culmination of file sharing technology or do we have ways to go?
12 posts and 5 images submitted.
>>
Yes.
>>
>>59096156
Magnet links are cool, but you still need a program on your PC to manage the linked torrent.
>>
Magnets are garbage and they're still poorly supported despite already existing when bittorrent was first released.

Manual loop unrolling seems to be a crypto programmer meme. I wish I knew why they did it. It could be because they are mathematicians first and programmers second. It could be because they don't know about --funroll-all-loops. There could be a legitimate reason.

Just got a new pc, been using it for a few weeks now but thinking about wanting to upgrade the graphics card from a 2 gig to maybe a 3 (its a Geforce gtx 660ti). But I'm also being told that I have to upgrade my mobo as well (its a asrock 990 fx extreme 4), but I'm not sure where to begin, it can run games like skyrim maxed out but I want to be able to run newer ganes. My case is a NZXT phantom 820.

A problem from /sci/

I wrote some code that runs through and tries out different cutoffs, keeping the winner each time and giving the loser a new random cutoff (between 0.5 and 0.7 - this seems to be a good range).

Anyways, the answer comes out to around 60% consistently.

How to prove mathematically?
