a) It's not safe because the encryption was never (((audited)))
b) It's not safe because muh sores code
c) It's not safe because it requires your phone number
OP here, think a program has open/close source code. Does it change anything then ? Most of the guys here always say "if you connect internet it isnt safe" wtf i am not planing to make atom bomb or something. Just want to encrypt my daily conversations.

If you want to have encryption, roll your own client, share your own keys physically with friends, do not trust anyone else to give you this. They will not.
