What are the pros and cons of having an iPhone from tech

If you develop software, you have a relatively small set of devices to test against and know what hardware features are available.
If you develop hardware, you're able to build increasingly customized devices since you know the exact dimensions and placement of features. and don't have to resort to some clunky one-size-fits-all mechanism.
