Read the sticky. After that, you have more time than you think, and lifting takes less time than you think. Start by dieting and doing compound lifts on MWF. Then experiment from there.

I kept it pretty tight.
Did deadlifts, rack pulls and what I think might of killed it was power cleans (I know they do nothing but they're really fun).
It seems to have broken along a bad cast seam, so I'm hoping customer service pulls through and sends a replacement clip.

This. I say it everywhere I go. To /fit/izens wanting gains, /k/ommandos who want to tighten their groupings, autismos in need of social skill, people who complain they can't play their instrument. The only way to develop and refine a skill is to use it, use it, use it. There is no other way. There are things that might aid you- steroids, anti-anxiety meds, a sling for your rifle- but they are worthless without your effort, without the work. They're designed to make your practice easier or more effective, not replace it. You will never even hit 1.5pl8 if you are not willing to work for it and lift regularly to strengthen your body. You will never reach 1MOA if you do not zero your rifle and practice to learn its controls and how to handle it. You will never play Bach or Mozart if you do not practice your scales and study your score. And you will never have friends if you don't take the initiative and go talk to people.

So today i bought a 20 kg plate

and did 200 consecutive reps benching it before i reached failre

(lying in bed taking each end of the disk)

So I went to the gym for the first time in a few months (new job) and good lord something fucky must have happened there because the place is now inhabited by weirdos

How the fuck do I quit this shit? I know it's literally poison, but I keep coming back. The longer I go without eating something sweet, the more intense my cravings become. People always say it gets easier over time, but it only gets harder for me. I don't drink soda or alcohol, I don't smoke, and I don't do any drugs, but I feel drawn to the desserts when I go to the cafeteria, like a moth to the flame. It seems you can't go through life without having at least one vice. The thing is, I *know* I'm gonna regret eating the stuff and feel like shit afterwards *before* I even put it on my plate, but I do it anyway, time and time again. It feels too fucking good not to.

How do I cure this addiction?
