Hi lads!
I want to cook Ayahuascana.
Any ideas how to get ingredients or How to cook?

Alright guys, I need help with my lab report suggestions. The problem is that I made a linear Voltage controlled frequency generator and am getting a 'ramping' effect on my integrator circuit. Do you guys know how i can possibly solve this? The output i should be getting is perfect square and triangle waves. pic related.
This is what the output wave should be...
Did you try taking it apart and putting it back together?
also, this is my circuit lay out
Hey /diy/, I'm trying to turn one of my rooms into an infinity room like the one by Yayoi Kusama (see image). So far, I'm thinking of making the mirrors from mylar stretched over wooden frames, and getting a few hundred LED's for the lights. I don't have firsthand experience with either of these things, so I wanted to see if anyone might know of better alternatives.
>>905842
LEDs come in strips now. The easiest thing to do is to buy Ikea LED strips, set them to change colors and run them around the perimeter of the ceiling.
As for mirrors, mirrored walls use to be a big thing. You could probably still buy them from any company that specializes in wall coverings. It's going to be expensive though. Any mirror you make will not be of good quality, and the 'infinite effect' is ruined by shitty quality mirrors. If a mirror has even a slight green hue, about 10 reflections in will be 80% green, and stop reflecting. My suggestion is that you test the quality of the mirror before you buy anything for what I just typed.
>>905858
Thanks for the advice, I'll definitely go with the led strips. That's what I feared with the mirrors though. I already ordered some mylar, so I guess I'll make small test box to see how well it reflects. If it ends up being bad, I guess I'll just have to save for decent mirrors.
applying mirrors on the wall is actually quite doable: just buy mirror tiles and apply like any other tile. or get the self-adhesive ones.
New thread, as I let the old one die. Really appreciate the interest the first one got, and I'm glad there are guys on here who know more about these engines than I. This is a pretty slow moving project, so I'll probably have to make one of these every few weeks.
Anyways,
>Be me
>It's cold outside
>Breaker bar and massive 1 3/4" socket acquired
>Six 1/2" bolts surrounding 1 3/2" bolt in the center of the crankshaft pulley
>Can't fit socket over center bolt head far enough to apply any real torque with smaller bolts in the way
>RemoveBolts.bat
>Try to wiggle the pulley off
>Pulley remains solidly attached to crankshaft
>Decide removing it isn't important, so long as I can get the socket on the crankshaft
>Slide on socket with breaker bar and pipe
>Push with all my might towards clockwise rotation
>Both breaker bar and engine seating flex, but the engine remains solid
>Realize that trying to do this in freezing whether is probably not assisting my cause
>Oh well, let's see if it'll rotate counterclockwise before giving up.
>What I thought was the crankshaft unscrews

Additionally, I've been working to remove both the intake and exhaust manifolds. However, despite removing every bolt I could find securing them to the block (and each other,) the things won't budge.
How fix an old keyboard?
I have an old keyboard Compaq SK-2800C and the key "Ctrl" don't work.
Months ago, the keys "B", "N" and "Space" don't work neither, but when I opened the keyboard, in the membranes I saw a grey line with places where that shit grey are missing:
https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/0/08/Inside_Computer_keyboard.jpg
That places was black instead grey.
I fix the problem putting a tight line of foil in that grey lines of circuits into the keyboard to complet the conection, and works, that keys now are working good.
I tried the same shit looking the lines connected with the key "Ctrl", but nothing, I can't see it a part missing of that grey line.
Help.
>b4 buy a new keyboard.
C'mon guys, is just a key.
the black stuff is oxidation, ad it comes off with an eraser. do it gently, tho.
>>905474
Any kind of eraser?
no, not any eraser. it MUST be a Pink Pearl by Eberhard Faber, or a Mars Plastic by Staedtler.
How would I connect a multiple lead AND gate like the one on the right so that it worked like the one on the left (2 input one output)
please give me links to what gate I should use
>>904896
say you have an ic like 4081
has 4 and gates in it
connect pin 7 to 0v
pin 14 to 5v
use 1 & 2 as inputs and 3 as output
or
use 5 & 6 as inputs and 4 as output
or
use 8 & 9 as inputs and 10 as output
or
use 13 & 12 as inputs and 11 as output
>>904896
They look like this inside.
AND gate packages are more expensive then NANA packages, so figure modify your circuit to work with NAND gates or less preferably use an inverter package as well.
Is £200 a good price for 3 small bits of stripboard?
There's 49 sold so I guess it must be right? Either that or I've stumbled on a money laundering operation.

>money laundering operation
that is the only possible explanation really
report it
>>904587
price people purchased it at was 1.99 - so seller is probably close to out of stock and will ship if someone is stupid enough to buy at 200
>>904696
Yep, just replied to me:
Hi there, thank you for your message. We're actually awaiting Stock from our supplier so to keep our stock from running out we've raised the price for several days. Our usual price is £1.95 but we offer discounts for larger orders.
are these any better than the generic black hex wrenches?
what are other good brands?
>gold
>on a tool
>>904547
Bondhus is the best for Allen wrenches.
Eklind is pretty good for T handles, but they round out much easier. Not too terrible though; just grind them a little further up the shaft.
>>904547
Yeah those are golden.
The mic off my headset broke completely and it's destroyed. How do I make a decent homemade one? Plugging my headset speaker into the mic slot and shouting is not a good option either.
>>905743
>How do I make a decent homemade one?
get a new mic, tape it to the headset, plug it in, done, use like normal
>>905754
yeah but that requires going to a store or spending a shitload of money online, I'd rather just use a shitty one I can make with crap lying around the house
>>905757
you can buy a shitty one for $5 online
/diy/ i need help creating a water vaporizer to grow some venus trap plants. Mosquitoes are eating me alive in the night.
any ideas :l?
>>905631
use a net
>>905631
Unless you manage to grow freaking hundreds of venus trap plants you won't be able to get rid of the mosquitoes.

i dont live in a shit hole xd, its a few of em, but their stings leave a fucking huge bump on my skin xd
Hey /diy/ I have a hoise inspection coming up and I need some handy hints on how to fix shit around my house pls
Hey /diy/ers,
TL:DR
>I want to make a waterproof turbocharger.
Would this be hard?
I would like to take power from the electric part of the turbo, without shorting anything.
Any ideas? Pic related, but water goes in and comes out.
>>904635
Also, I'd push water through the wide end, r-right?
>>904635
Rust. Do I need to worry about rust?
How hard would it be to insulate and run electricity to a steel garage kit? I'm having to move my gym out of my spare bedroom cause baby and want to buy one of these to turn into a gym/workshop.
>>904592
Is it a kit that is designed to be insulted and have electrical run to it? Then not so hard.
Not so much? Well then probably harder.
Have any other vague questions without enough detail you want answered?

How do I make my dick bigger? I can't satisfy big Amazon women. snu snu anon snu snu!
>>904612
You can swell your dick with a Brazilian Wandering spider.
You'll be in immense pain and die after several hours but atleast the Amazoness will be happy.
Problem with my computer.
Problem is, computer won't turn on.
Problem is not power outlet. Problem is not motherboard. Problem is not fan. Problem is not processor. Problem is not power supply. Problem is not RAM. problem is not case.
What could be the problem?
>>904411
power button
how do you know there isn't a problem with each component?could be an issue with combination
Problem could be power button, but bridging the on switch with a paperclip doesn't do the job either.
I've taken out each piece and tested them with a working system. I don't believe that it's a connection problem because the computer worked fine for about 6 months before it stopped working abruptly.

>Problem is not power outlet. Problem is not motherboard. Problem is not fan. Problem is not processor. Problem is not power supply. Problem is not RAM. problem is not case.
how do you know this?
what happened?
what did you do?
what do you know about computers?
ad some detail before expecting help.
it could be anything by your description.
So I finaly found a use for an old HDD-Motor I salvaged once. Now I need to actually drive it. Of course I could buy an ESC to do the job, but at that point I could also just buy a propper RC motor.
So I still got the curcuit board of the HDD and found the driver.

My aproach would be disconnecting the LIN Vref and/or PWM Vref pin/s while leaving everything else connected and inputting my own speed via either voltage or PWM.
Do you see anything obviously wrong with that?
Upon closer Inspection it seems like 6 pins are used for commutation and thereby control the speed. Those 6 pins are connected to a WD61C12-WM which seems to do more than just controling the motor speed. Guess I hit a dead end here.
Any easier ways to drive an HDD motor?
>>902044
>The commutation sequence is provided by the user via six inputs
In other words, you would need a microcontroller to cycle the IN pins to make the motor spin.
Something like the following does the commutation sequence automatically:

There are Chinese boards based on that or similar parts:
