The nerve of some people who assume he's evil for some reason.
>>94754566
Well, he did want to rape that girl, or at least marry her against her will, and murder the Sultan and overthrow his kingdom, and be all powerful.
Granted you could probably come up with justifications for all of these, but once you're in that territory, you're kind of on shaky ground.
>>94754590
Nothing wrong with rape, that's the only thing women are good for.
>>94754566
He's the only guy who seems to know what's going on in the city at any given moment. Until the genie thing came into the movie his only character flaw was that he wanted to fuck Jasmine. The King was a fat oaf who was obsessed with making little models and was portrayed consistently as an idiot.
His enemy was a thief who is universally despised by a town of people who are, by all appearances, just as poor and desperate. Stealing from the poor is a shit thing to do, and proves Aladdin isn't just poor but also lazy.
Through sheer luck this asshole thief comes into ownership of PHENOMENAL COSMIC POWER and proceeds to waste his first two wishes on riches and fame, par for the course for an asshole thief. He woos the King's daughter, whose naive upbringing prevented her from spotting a shallow, lying Chad when she saw one.
Aladdin's story and Jafar's story only cross when Jafar retrieves the lamp and becomes ruler. He imprisons the King, who, if we take the aforementioned universal poverty into account, was partially or directly responsible for the situation in Agrabah. Jafar's punishment of the King made sense, as did his desire to secure a royal line.
But our asshole Chad saves the day and dooms Agrabah to decades of selfish twat rulers concerned with wealth and fame. Disney!
Does it count as an animated movie?
I mean, its got to be at least 90% animated right?
Yes, but it wasn't very good. The visual spectacle was a nice distraction in 2009 when everything was going to shit, but the story and characters were tepid at best.
More importantly, it feels like fuckin' every movie with a budget over $50M is 90% animated these days. What happened to miniatures? What happened to matte videography?
>>94754539
>You will live to see the day a 100% cgi film is made and people unironically treat it like a live action film, for filling the prophecy where animation is no longer for kids in the american market.
Seriously, if that happens, would /co/ have to allow threads about these things?
>>94754539
The CGI is too good for it to count as /co/.
What went wrong?
Do you want my worthless opinion or a bunch of regurgitated contrarianism?
Because I don't think the film did anything wrong.
Happy holding on to the wedding rings since 2008 made me laugh though.
>>94754369
They made it a comedy but didnt give any of the jokes to spidey
also without uncle Ben there wasnt enough of a guilt complex
>>94754405
>Because I don't think the film did anything wrong.
>did anything wrong
>the film was literally perfect
What's the opposite of a contrarian? A Disney cocksucking shill? At least contrarians aren't bound by a paycheck.

Watching his videos.
He seems to be a okay reviewer.

>>94754118
Did you learn your lesson?
Kill yourself
What went wrong?
fucking guys like Frank Miller creating characters like Elektra and then all of a sudden every lady's costume is a swimsuit, and of course it caught on big because comic book guys at the time were big-time masturbators

Superheroines are for 12-year-old boys to get wood in thei pants.

Could Superman defeat Dr. Manhattan?
Dr Manhattan couldn't even defeat Ozymandias.
>>94753647
Realistically, no, almost nothing can,
Manhattan could separate Supes molecules as easily as anyone else's, and can put himself back together infinitely; Supes has nothing that can touch that. Supes or more likely Batman might be able to outsmart Manhattan the way Ozymandias did, but beating him in a straight fight if he had nothing holding him back is impossible for any Justice League member
That all said, Manhattan is a slave to the timeline: if the timeline demands he loses, he will, just like how he left Earth when it demanded him to in Watchmen.
if Dr. Manhattan would actually be convinced to fight, no.
All anyone has to do to beat doctor Manhattan is to trigger him into a depressive episode so he fucks off to another barren landscape.
Looks like there is going to be another crossover between Batman and The Shadow after the current series is over. Apparently it's a sequel and the first issue is coming out on October 4.
Thoughts ? Have you been liking the current Batman/Shadow crossover so far ? Do you think there's potential in a sequel ?
>The truth of what the Shadow doesn’t know threatens to destroy his partnership with Batman and Robin just when they need him the most. Three generations of heroes stand at a crossroads as the secret of the Silent Seven threatens to encompass and obliterate them all. To fight the Seven, Batman and the Shadow must force them to reveal themselves. But how do men make moves against a behemoth evil that measures assaults in centuries?
>In Batman/Shadow, Batman faced a truth he was afraid to comprehend. In Shadow/Batman, the Shadow is finally faced with a moment he’s avoided his entire life: the moment the Shadow does not know.
>Batman and The Shadow, two of comics’ most iconic characters, will again join forces to save the world this October as Dynamite Entertainment, DC Entertainment, and Conde Nast partner for a brand new, six-issue crossover event that will unite history’s most well-known vigilantes as they confront the World’s Greatest Evil! >The World’s Greatest Mystery. The World’s Greatest Detective. They can barely stand each other, so how will they possibly deal with the World’s Greatest Evil? What legacy can two of the world’s most enduring icons of justice leave once they discover an ancient evil has been living inside the world they protect for centuries, attached to its heart. Can Batman and the Shadow save the world without killing it in the process?

Heathcliff takes a nap.
Heathcliff hurts my brain. Is the joke that most newspaper comics have all sorts of messages while no matter how deeply you dissect Heathcliff there is no message? Also, he doesn't seem as sassy as he was in the cartoon from when I was a kid.

Who could realistically kill the DC universe?
Me.

Total Drama thread?
I'm watching PI for the first time, unlike most seasons I really like most of the cast.Scarlett and Emma are my faves so farI wish a horrible death upon Sugar
>>94752988Sugar need to be tortured before the death.
Ella is too pure for their world.
This is reaaaaally boring, holy shit, I'm on episode 7 and it feels like nothing has happened, is just a bunch of fight scenes and endless talking scenes holy shit!!
What happened?? Daredevil was so good!
I think Daredevil series 1 its just lucky circumstances. Becoz everything else is kinda awful
>>94752829
They also had Drew Goddard as the showrunner, who left after S1 and things went to shit.
Truth be told, I enjoyed Luke Cage for being a bit more tongue in cheek and having all that soul music, but it wasn't on par.
Jessica Jones started out strong but became really tedious the longer it went along.
Haven't even watched Iron Fist.
>>94752901
Steven S DeKnight was the showrunner for the production of season 1 actually, and he left before season 2. They should just bring him back IMO.
Why is the voice acting so shit?

why is the art style so shit?
