/a/ consistently calls the greatest Japanese animator to ever live a "hack." So I'd like to know if /co/ is just as retarded as /a/ and ask what /co/ thinks of the greatest western animator to ever live. Not his company, because /co/ talks a lot about the Renaissance and the Renaissance revival films frequently, but the films that Walt Disney himself actually worked on.
Walt Disney was a corny, self-obsessed manchild who loved trains and not having to do actual work.
But his work as an animator was unique and spawned a beautiful age of animation.

Nick Park?
Who is the Tommy Wiseau of animation?
- Bryan Singer is no longer the director, but will remain as a producer and creative consultant.
- Singer didn't want to direct X-MEN: APOCALYPSE, but Fox convinced him to do it. He originally viewed X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST as the "natural end" of the series.
- Fox doesn't consider X-MEN: APOCALYPSE a flop, but it definitely underperformed, and they're aware that the audience hasn't reacted positively to the new cast. This, coupled with Singer's departure and James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult reaching the end of their contracts, has led to Fox shelving plans for another direct sequel for the time being.
- McAvoy is already in final talks to sign a new contract to play Xavier, now that Patrick Stewart is retiring from the role.
- There's interest in bringing Fassbender, Lawrence and Hoult back as well, but none of them are as enthusiastic as McAvoy, who genuinely enjoys the role. Besides, they have a wider timetable to renegotiate their contracts since Magneto, Mystique and Beast wouldn't be used again for the next three years at least.
Based McAvoy.
- LOGAN was been very well-received by test-audiences and is projected to be a box office hit.
- Ellen Page makes an uncredited appearance in the movie as an older Kitty Pryde.
- There's no Deadpool cameo as previously reported.
- Hugh Jackman decided to retire due to his health, as he no longer feel capable of maintaining the rigorous training regime to achieve his Wolverine physique, but Fox is trying to change his mind, and he's now leaning towards coming back at least one more time for a proposed WOLVERINE/DEADPOOL crossover, as he truly loves the characters and is good friends with Ryan Reynolds.
This is starting to sound like Sony before they made the Marvel deal...

I know right? Green screen is fun to work with, and lets you do so much more with the action.
I miss movies that weren't made by 3D artists. I love Pixar and stuff but I wish someone would make another live action movie.

Is there any hope for the movie?

Nope. But Wonder Woman is still pretty cool.

Hey, OP, if you just go right ahead and kill yourself for being retarded as hell, that'd be great.
>Is there any hope for the movie?
Absolutely.
God bless the Dceu.
Really desperately hope the Greek Gods appear. And that David Thewlis is playing Ares and does battle Diana in armor.
Please god.
http://www.comicsbeat.com/marel-overships-titles-to-retailers-by-10-in-january/
>Marvel’s weekly mailer to retailers went out today and buried in it was a little item that read as follows:
>10% EXTRA FOR FREE ON MARVEL UNIVERSE JANUARY SHIPPING TITLES!
>As a thank you to Retailers, Marvel will be sending an additional 10% of FREE copies for all of January shipping Marvel Universe titles! For all orders made by FOC, Marvel will be sending 10% extra at no cost to Retailers!
>Which sounds…nice? But also could have ramifications on many, many things, from our sales charts to Diamond’s publisher rankings.
>It’s no secret that marvel and DC have been locked in a battle for the #1 publisher for a while – with Marvel usually winning but DC taking the crown for six months. Since Diamond’s charts are based on what hey ship to retaielrs, this extra 10% might be included in unit and dollar market shares…giving Marvel a little boost. Even if a store ordered only one copy of something, they are getting an extra copy, doubling shipping in some cases.
>Marvel NOW!’s performance with readers remains one of the biggest problems facing retailers, as enthusiasm has been patchy and nothing has really caught fire. Even if this overship s not counted in the monthly charts, having extra copies on sale to sell to readers is a proven sales booster in many cases.
Looks like Marvel's confirmed the reports of additional stock made over the past few weeks. Interesting how it's supposedly 10%, though.
Thoughts, /co/?
There's not much that can be said that hasn't already been said in countless other threads.
Marvel's comic division is under-performing because their writers are too busy patting themselves on the back and appealing to an audience that doesn't buy comic books. That's about it.
>>88914856
>Marvel will be sending 10% extra at no cost to Retailers!
I'd hope that's actually the case since I've heard of retailers getting worried they're getting charged for shipping on books that were given to them for free. I mean they'd tolerate that for FCBD but not for a lot of low-performing Marvels.
>>88914856
Marvel a shit
>Nick Fury Jr ongoing
that's stupid
>James Robinson and ACO creative team
well goddammit
>marvel got aco
is this the beggining of the end?
I'm sure excited for Nick Fury, jr.
>>88914545
This looks promising.
It's hard to recreate the Steranko feeling, but last year's Midnighter showed ACO's storytelling could be improved and fuck me he's trying hard.
You DO think this is her best costume, right /co/?
>>88914518
Yes, because it obviously is. The only other remote contender is her EMH costume.
The McKelvie Captain Marvel costume is actually great
No, the best costume was the one Moonstone used. Carol is such a failure that a temporary replacement had the best costume the character ever used.
>In Marvel Studios’ Thor: Ragnarok, Thor is imprisoned on the other side of the universe without his mighty hammer and finds himself in a race against time to get back to Asgard to stop Ragnarok – the destruction of his homeworld and the end of Asgardian civilization – at the hands of an all-powerful new threat, the ruthless Hela. But first he must survive a deadly gladatorial contest that pits him against his former ally and fellow Avenger – the Incredible Hulk!

You are the least annoying new thing getting put out by Marvel right now, when you're not written by Waid.
She's got real big y'know...powers
http://www.comingsoon.net/movies/news/800159-james-gunn-talked-to-marvel-about-a-moon-knight-movie
jesus fucking CHRIST almost had a heart attack
I hope they never let him do the moonie, but I doubt there is anyone who can actually do moonie right. At the end of the day it's what marvel what that matters, not the director
but now that pandora box is open, they're never gonna let moonie go. FUCK. I though he was gonna be the only character not raped. Guess we wait
looks like he told him the idea, so it might the start the development.
fuck I guess it's inevitable.
Oh and what's that? Moon Knight? /co/ doesn't give a flying fuck? Yeah that's very surprising, didn't see that one coming.
They are going to fuck it up. They can just take Warren Ellis's run, recreate it frame-to-frame for Netflix and it would be perfect. It even has the hallway fight they love so much.
>>88909975
Fuck no leave that shit for future seasons if anything. Also you can't have a moon knight show with a ellis run alone, when the whole run is about moon knight having adventures that end in one chapter
That's what I fucking hate about Moon Knight adaptation
They're not gonna use the classic costume but the ellis costume because it's not "realistic"
What does /co/ think of Jim Hensons's Dinosaurs?
>Dinosaurs is an American family sitcom comedy television series that was originally broadcast on ABC from April 26, 1991 to July 20, 1994. The show, about a family of anthropomorphic dinosaurs (portrayed by puppets), was produced by Michael Jacobs Productions and Jim Henson Productions in association with Walt Disney Television and distributed by Buena Vista International, Inc.The characters were designed by Henson team member Kirk Thatcher.
I guess count as puppets.
I used to watch it a lot as a kid, I was a sucker for anything dinosaur.
Don't remember much, but iirc the kids were annoying, especially the baby.
Fun show, but damn man. That ending.
>>88909997
Ditto. Looking back it was very much the Flintstones of the 90's and not just because of the setting.
