how often are you breading chicken to be devising all these memes?
Is it possible to make rice and beans in a crockpot without having to either cook the rice or soak the beans first? Every recipe I find online requires the rice be cooked before hand and I just want to throw everything in at once and not worry about it.
Probably not. By the time the beans are completely cooked, the rice would be pretty much disintegrated into slop.
You may have better luck with rice and lentils because lentils cook much faster than beans, but even then it won't be perfect.
Don't throw it all in at once. I would make sure the beans were cooked first and then make sure there is enough liquid and add the rice. If you are dead set on doing it all in a crockpot.
how does he do it and how is he still alive?

Extra lining in his stomach. His liver is fubar, but he limits himself to one liquor slam a month to give it time to heal.
Has he done a single video where he snaps out of character?
Give me your salsa recipes.
I can't get enough of the salsa the have at mexican restaurants in my area.

When I make mine, I usually take some ripe plum tomatoes, put them on a baking sheet with some jalapenos and serranos and a few gloves of garlic and stick them under the broiler and flip them occasionally to char all sides, then throw them all in a blender with some chopped onion, cilantro, lime juice, salt, pepper and usually some cumin, then blend to the consistency I want.
I also like to swap the tomatoes for tomatillos for green salsa sometimes. Sometimes I throw in a couple of chipotle peppers with the adobo sauce too.

Fuck, meant cloves of garlic, not gloves. Though I'm sure people got it unless they're completely retarded.

Moe's Southwest used to have this seasonal cranberry lime salsa that was absolutely delicious. I would go 2 or 3 times a week just to get a big ass cup of that shit.

Damn, I see these things in the store sometimes and I always thought a soggy, compressed burger might actually be a pretty good drunk snack, but that's truly disappointing.
They'll be like gold when wwiii hits and we're all scavenging for non-glowing food though.

Can I use sugar/brown sugar instead of honey in this sticky orange/honey chicken recipe?
I wouldn't
>>7170121
I have some chicken tights marinating in soy sauce, garlic and orange right now, but just realized I don't have any honey.
How do I get it sweet, sticky and yummy? I'll also add thyme and parsley later.
Yes, just not in the same amounts.

I'm going to Germany soon. Is there any German food in particular worth eating?
Saßages, senpai
>>7169973
Rouladen, pinkle und kole, pretzels, beer...
Keep in mind Beef across Europe is dogshit tier compared to American, Canadian and Mexican beef... also Australian... so... get pork when you can. Germans knock pork out of the park but my favorite German food is Rouladen.
inb4 kebab
>>7169988
rouladen is beef, and beef isn't always dogshit tier here, depends what part you get and from where. get organic beef, always better.
Who wants homemade tots and homemade cookies!???…....pro tip- you do!
How do?
Tater tots are honestly one of the few foods that just aren't worth making from scratch.

Hello /ck/.
I've received something edible from my neighbour while drunk and I don't know what it is.
Essentially the I live next to this big family and the mother of the lot will often give me food probably driven by her motherly instincts(i live alone). She usually says something like "I've bough too much" or something to that effect.
Usually it's something I can deal with, like potatoes or ground beef, but this time it's something I've never seen really. And while receiving it I was drunk and I didn't really pay attention to what she said.
Now I can't recall what she called this thing and I have no idea what to do with it.
Can you help me identify it?

One more shot.
Does it smell more like garbage or rotten fish?
>>7169727
More like garbage.

That's not very nice.
When is it okay to use generic brand goods?
I bought cheap imitationo vanilla (not even real vanilla) because it's like $5 cheaper and comes in bigger bottles. What about seasonings? Are the cheap ones good?
>>7169718
not if it's rounded or estimated
>>7169697
>are generics good?
Really varies from product to product:
Things like canned tomatoes for instance, there's going to be variations between brands, but there's no real connection between quality/flavor and price, you just have to sample them all and find what works best for given applications.
Very simple things (white sugar, salt, baking powder, milk with a given fat percentage), they're chemically identical regards of the name on the package, so there's no reason to buy anything but the cheapest brand.
Spices, there's no real difference but if you're buying pre-ground spices in a little jar at the grocery store you're getting a shitty product regardless - buy whole spices and grind them yourself.
The one place where there's usually a real difference between generics and major brand names are in pre/partially-prepared foodstuffs, things like breakfast cereals and frozen pizzas, because those contain multiple ingredients and use legally trademarked recipes.
>>7169697
don't ever buy generic powdered sugar, it's always stale and if you make a frosting out of it your shit tastes worse than boxed
This was some chicken in the taco I got from chipotle today, am I going to die?
>>7169601
I'd be more worried about the produce than the chicken anon.
