Would you eat my steak, anon?
I'd eat that. Everybody'd eat that.
>>7373854 anon has been in my kitchen using my plates? Thought I was the only person left on the planet with that set. Also, only way to eat beef. Cheers anon

>Dem plates
My parents got that plate set as a wedding gift, I'm 38 and they now reside in MY cupboard.
>shit was made to last.
Also; steak looks good, I would love it.
>make gingersnaps for years
>used many different recipes
>none have that spicy bite to them that store bought ones have
>decide to toss in a little cayenne pepper...
Holy shit!!! These are amazing now. They have the right ginger/cinnamon flavor and that spicy bite that lingers just long enough to make you take proper notice.
Anyone else do this? Is this what the commercial brands do or with another ingredient than just ginger? Maybe it is because I normally use dry ginger powder instead of grated ginger?
Ginger beer has capsaicin added sometimes, why not ginger cookies?
I may make these later tonight, I've been wanting to use the ginger root in the fridge...
It really is good. I tried chef john's recipe last christmas (he uses chopped up crystalized ginger, too) and everybody loved them.

>I normally use dry ginger powder
Might as well use talc.
OKAY /CK/ ITS TIME TO SETTLE THIS ONCE AND FOR ALL.
WHO IN THIS BOARD MAKES THE BEST PANCAKES?
In my opinion nothing can beats the latinoamerican pancake with manjar, prove me wrong. [spoiler] You can't[spoiler]
Whats your recipe?
the greater latino population doesn't do anything that someone else doesn't do better
>>7373543
Germany here. Pancakes are 666+6+6, 6 Eggs with 666g of flour, 666g of sugar and 6 Tablespoons of sparceling water.
THAT is LITERALLY THE BEST WAY TO MAKE PANCAKES!!!
>>7373543
the cream looks nice. Google says it's "Manjar Nestlé". Not sure what that's suppsosed to be though. Doesn't "manjar" just mean "to eat"?
My crab rangoons came cold in the middle, and I complained, the chinese lady was adament crab rangoon is supposed to be that way. Was she chinkin' me or its for real?
>>7373541
>complain to foreigners
Your next order will have the special sauce in it.
>>7373541
Is it weird that I prefer them cold?
It depends. If the outside was hot and the inside was cool that's normal. If the inside was actually cold or icy that's not. The reason they normally are hot inside is because they don't make them to order.
So either they were making them fresh and you were being a dick or they were making them from frozen and they were being dicks.
Don't ever listen to America's Test Kitchen. They don't know what the fuck they're doing.
>>7372957
>Don't ever listen to /ck/. They don't know what the fuck they're doing.

When was the last time you were complimented on something you cooked?
never
>>7370160
The last time I cooked for other people a few weeks ago. Had a couple friends over and made some spinach and mushroom enchiladas with sour cream sauce and some spanish rice.
Going to make some hawaiian rolls and jalapeno slaw to bring to a friend's house tomorrow since he's smoking a pork shoulder. Should make some tasty pulled pork sandwiches and I expect that I'll be complimented on the rolls and slaw as well as compliment my friend on the pork.
>>7370160
who the fuck would i be cooking for you moron i barely contact other people
So I currently have no molars in my mouth and am. In my second week of healing after dental implants. I won the fucking genetic lottery and my adult teeth never had enamel.
For the last week and a half I've been able to drink milk and and water and eat slightly warm soup, yogurt, pudding, mashed potatoes and cottage cheese. This shit sucks. There are a lot of soft sweet things i can eat but I'm having trouble coming up with savory stuff. I can only eat so much peanut butter or mashed potatoes.
Anyone have any recommendations? I currently have six crowned front teeth to work with but that's it.
>>7369548
Man. That sucks.
Porridge
Baba gaboush
Hummus, and all sorts of other dips
Yogurt
Cream cheese
Sour cream, maybe mixed into the mashed potato
>>7369548
Microwaved chesse quesadilla?

What are you drinking tonight?
For me, pic related and it's total swill. Everyone living somewhere with good cheap beer in envy you.
ok
but post it in one of the other beer threads you fucking cunt
>>7376590
I recall I got this ultra-cheap beer at a Walgreen's one time, it was like $2.88 for a 6pack. It was actually drinkable; at least better than most macro swill, and I was pleasantly shocked. Was nice to get buzzed for three bucks a person.
>>7376594
This is a What Are You Drinking Tonight thread not a beer thread you dumb sack of shit
Have you ever cooked something you saw in anime?
I made rice once. It was delicious.

>>7375389
