I've had this can of shark fin soup in my pantry for a couple of years.

It's illegal in the state I currently live in, and has since become illegal in the state I purchased it in.

Obviously not discontinued, but I don't see this thread getting too many other replies, OP.

It's probably legal to own, even if it wasn't expired (which it is). It seems like most laws just make it illegal to sell.

I've been wanting to make a thread where I open it and give it a try, but I've just never been in the mood, and now that it's expired I'll probably just open it and take pictures, because I don't want to get sick.

I got some of that not your father's root beer at the store today. It's pretty good I guess, just really sweet so I don't feel like I can drink more than one or two of them before switching to something else.

Just got back from the bar.

Tried Dogfish Head 60 Minutes. I'm not a fan of IPAs but I've heard nothing but people worshipping Dogfish Head, so I thought I'd give it a try. I'm still not a fan of IPAs.

Tried Shiner White Wings. Nice fruity beer.

Tried St. Arnold Weedwhacker. It was fantastic. I drank it for the rest of the evening.

they probably refused serving it blue rare due to "possible health and safety" issues due to it being raw on the inside. hence why they had no qualms about it being served well done since they don't have that issue to contend with.

Yes, it's bullshit that I truly believe the diet industry made to make dieting feel harder. And yes the Diet Industry is largely designed to have people fail constantly, if we all just lost weight there wouldn't be anyone falling for these new diets.

Calories In, Calories Out. It's not rocket science. At the same time you want to get some nutrients in because you can't just live off sugar.

Cover the whole thing in an aluminum foil tent, you can reuse the foil many times. Also try putting ice cubes in a pan on the bottom rack directly underneath the bread-pan, so the foil tent will catch the steam and help the bread rise.

You could also try putting the dough in before the oven is done preheating, with the foil on, ice cubes, and all that.

Basically what is happening with your bread is a hard crust is forming and preventing the bread from rising in the oven.
