I've had this can of shark fin soup in my pantry for a couple of years.

It's illegal in the state I currently live in, and has since become illegal in the state I purchased it in.

Obviously not discontinued, but I don't see this thread getting too many other replies, OP.

It's probably legal to own, even if it wasn't expired (which it is). It seems like most laws just make it illegal to sell.

I've been wanting to make a thread where I open it and give it a try, but I've just never been in the mood, and now that it's expired I'll probably just open it and take pictures, because I don't want to get sick.

At least the first three ingredients are water, shark fin, and crab meat.

Just got back from the bar.

Tried Dogfish Head 60 Minutes. I'm not a fan of IPAs but I've heard nothing but people worshipping Dogfish Head, so I thought I'd give it a try. I'm still not a fan of IPAs.

Tried Shiner White Wings. Nice fruity beer.

Tried St. Arnold Weedwhacker. It was fantastic. I drank it for the rest of the evening.

Is "starvation mode" real, or is it just something fat fat fatties made up to explain why they "just can't" lose weight by dieting?

It seems like most information I can find about it presumes the reader is a fatty who just can't stop sneaking Ho-Hos between salads, and there's very little that addresses borderline anorexia or anyone actually skinny having these problems. Not sure if actual medical problem or First World problem.

I just finished making olive bread dough. Nothing fancy, just flower, water, yeast, salt, sugar, oil, and some olives. I don't plan on eating any bread tonight though. Is there anything wrong with leaving it out overnight and having fresh olive bread tomorrow morning for breakfast? Or will it not be as good if I don't cook it now?

Hey guys i made some french bread yesterday and it turned out a little too dense and hard. How can i make it more light and fluffy like the shit you get from jewel.Please give me tips or a better recipe. Here is the recipe i used

Cover the whole thing in an aluminum foil tent, you can reuse the foil many times. Also try putting ice cubes in a pan on the bottom rack directly underneath the bread-pan, so the foil tent will catch the steam and help the bread rise.

You could also try putting the dough in before the oven is done preheating, with the foil on, ice cubes, and all that.

Basically what is happening with your bread is a hard crust is forming and preventing the bread from rising in the oven.
