I got food poisoning yesterday and still haven't been able to keep solid food down, I'm losing my mind. Getting angry at everything and I really wish people would stop posting about Sanders' proposed methods for funding his big programs I'm going to lose it. Google keeps using pictures of store fronts from my town in their captchas and it's freaking me out
What kind of foods can I eat that are really soft on a sensitive stomach? I tried potatoes and boiled carrots but I couldn't keep them down. I've been subsisting off water with a bit of elder flower syrup

Try some plain bread or some plain crackers like saltines or something like that. If you can't keep that down, just keep drinking liquids until your stomach settles down some more. Maybe try some plain broth or some jello.

Hi, /ck/. I'm going downstate to visit my girlfriend for the weekend, and the thing is, she still lives in a college residence hall and the dining options are absolute shithouse. It's all unhealthy and unsubstantial as fuck.
I want to bring some food down with me when I visit her, but because everyone who lives in her residence hall is an asshole, I can't bring anything that needs to be refrigerated or else it WILL be stolen.
So, /ck/, do you have any suggestions for healthy foods/meals that can just be kept out at room temperature, at least for four days? I was thinking about bringing some fruit, like apples and oranges and bananas, but if there's any kind of meal that'd keep, please clue me in. Because I don't wanna eat shit all weekend, either.

Reminder: If you need milk then UHT milk can be stored out of the fridge, though should be refridgerated after opening so I'd recommend buying a six pack of 250ml cartons and using up each carton. That's about a cup of milk.
Oats, rice, potatoes, capsicum (bell pepper), cucumbers. Those should keep out of the fridge for a few days if it's not summer.

I'm planning a wedding feast for a small group of people and this is what I was thinking:
1. Fresh spring rolls with peanut sauce
2. Avacado with crab salad
3. Citrus-based salad
4. Borsht (vegetarian)
5. Paella (seafood plus chicken/chorizo)
6. Cake (almond and marzipan)
I'm just worried that a lot of this wouldn't fit well together and that it might all be too heavy. I thought I should get opinions from the refined palate of /ck/

400 is too coarse unless you need to grind out major chips.
For regular maintenance using 2 stones you're better off starting around 800-1000 and finishing around 4 to 6k.

Just heard BK is about to be selling grilled dawgs. 100% beef dawgs offered in two options and flame grilled on the grills they use to cook the burgers. Normally fast food dawgs are all similar but the fact that these are flame grilled might get me to actually go outside and try them.
