Where did the "baking is for women real men grill" meme come from?
>>7372456
Insecure manchildren.
Probably the fact that women love to obsessively collect baking-related status symbols that they'll use once a year, such as Cuisinart stand mixers, and men love to obsessively collect grilling related status symbols such as those Green Egg things that they'll use once and then never use again. You never hear women raving about Green Eggs, and you never hear men talking about how hubby got them that stand mixer they've always wanted.
Protip: men have ding-dongs and women have cooches, these differences are not made up.
Tradition formed over thousands of years.

Hypocrisy: the religion
Going to Athens this April. Some Greek fag able to suggest what to get there to eat. Personally I think Greek cuisine is god tier, just too short time to try it all; need to optimize :v

Just gonna let you know that Greece is nothing like the John Travolta movie. I was disappointed.

How fat are you, /ck/?
Are you currently trying to lose weight?
What are your experiences with different diets?
150kg (300 amerilards) here, feeling like pic related most of the time. Currently trying a regular old calorie reduction diet.
>>7358355
5'11", only about 170lbs. Could stand to lose a little weight since I have a fair belly, or put on muscle and cut some fat. But I dunno, I can't seem to care enough to bother.
>>7358355
I was 245 during the summer of last year, at present I'm 186. I survive off a roast beast wrap a day.
>>7358355
I'm 5'4 and 160 and I can't stand it. I'm trying to eat less and do more exercises but it's so hard when I'm away at college.
Fuck bein overweight

I want to age some beers. What kind of minifridge should I get for that? I want to keep it cheap. It does not to be very cold, as long as it can be set to go lower than 60 degrees.
It does not need to fit bombers either, I would be aging 12oz or 11.2oz bottles primarly. Trappist ales, Founders various stouts, things like that.
Any advice from experienced anons about beer cellaring would be great appreciated as well.
put it in your mum, she cold
Literally any fridge will work.

A cellar, garage, shed, or even cupboard/shelf on the floor would be perfect
A cellar will be a literal deal-breaker for me when I buy a house, they're so handy
Post here your favorite meals when you go camping with your family or friends!
My favorite meal when I'm on trips is ravioli.
Yum!
>>7368662
Lasagna. It's been a tradition since my grandparents were alive. We'd all go camping and have lasagna.
>>7368662
I like curry. Rice is pretty portable, vegetables keep pretty well and so does curry blocks.
>>7368662
>when you go camping with your family or friends!

Rude
I usually like to have beans with rice or something similar.
So my friend likes the taste of bell peppers, but doesn't like the taste of bell peppers themselves. See, he likes to have them on his meals like a sub and remove them a few minutes later. He says it retains the "essence". Any viable substitutes for his tastes?
>>7367419
do bell peppers even have a taste?
>>7367419
You can replace "my friend" with "I" you're not fooling anyone. Also your answer is no asshat.
>>7367425
yah got me
I've been thinking of getting one, but they are a bit tiny. I'd probly better carry a waterbottle filled with jd or grey goose.
These things seemed laughable, why would I carry one of those, like wtf. But now that most restaurants, cities and offices are joining the alcohol-free zones movement, what is one to do right.
Quit or cut down on your drinking.

It has some pretty good recipes
i got a some ripe bananas and i want to make bananabread. problem is that i tried several recipes and tthey all where to dry for my liking. i might be weird, but for me it has to be almost dough-like in the middle.
does anybody have a good recipe? cause i don't want to end up with one of those half-assed breads again.
should i just up the banana and butter amount?
pic looks decently juicy
add applesauce or yogurt. you can sub the oil for these and it's a lot less bad (ignoring sugar) for you.
Your bananas should be pretty much black on the outside, and if it's still dry, add more bananas.
The best thing about banana bread is that it's a way to use up otherwise overripe bananas while getting the best flavor out of them.
I've always though banana "ice cream" and banana "pancakes" were stupid diet fads, but using blacked bananas to make delicious banana bread has literally always been how it's done.
