Hi, I'm Mason Bradshaw, and blue cheese is one of the most disgusting dressings ever conceived.

It's runny, moldy, smelly, and tastes like soap. I don't know about you, but when my food starts to mold, I throw it out. And the smell.. oh god the smell, you'd better brush your teeth if you come within 10ft of this stuff.

There's good news though. In June 2016, a strain of the Zika virus will find a new host in the bovine of western Europe, making blue cheese production unsustainable.

Other sauces can be poured straight into your nearest dumpster, as this market disruption will make them virtually worthless.

So /ck/, I drank too much. Not so much I'm not aware I am on the wrong side of fucked up but nothing to be done about that now. I'm chugging water to hopefully lessen tomorrow's hangover, but what should I do to prepare for tomorrow's breakfast? Salt and fat? Bland oatmeal? Fuck food altogether and chug more water?

What do you do when you're hungover, or know you're going to be? I tend to go for water and oatmeal, but that sometimes still leaves day long hangovers. Maybe that's just me and I have an ultra weaksauce liver or kidneys or something.

Fuck, it's like impending doom. Especially during a workday.

All you can do is drink a bunch of water/gatorade/pedialyte, eat a greasy meal then say a prayer. That or go full alchie, then drink 'till you pass out and sleep it off.

I do that without even drinking sometimes, just sleeping ten hours at the end of a series of five or six hour sleep nights during my work period. This is my Friday due to janky work schedules, so in a bad move I am like 300% too drunk. My posting being cogent is mostly because I am carefully quad checking everything to not APPEAR drunk, which I somehow find to be worse.

However I downed about twice as much as I need for a nice comfy, groggy hangover so fuck everything. Why grease? I have bacon. I can make bacon in the morning. Or early afternoon, at this point.

Conventional wisdom with no further proof other than the anecdotal. I would say the hearty meal gives you something for your digestive system to work on instead of just he leftover alcohol, and a full stomach always helps with nausea.

I've heard things about the amino acids/nutrients/fat lining the stomach, but I think that may all be bullshit. Different cultures swear by different meals, but just having something substantial in your stomach seems to universally help.

So a few days ago I went to this cookout even hosted by my apt complex. They had door prizes and I won one . . . . THIS.

It is a "Magic Chef 3 Gallon Glass Bowl Convection Oven".

Looking it up on Google it seems it costs a whopping $33 from Home Depot. Given that price my expectations are pretty damned low. Yet oddly enough it has good reviews?

What are some great devices that make preparing meals simple and easy?

So far, I have:
>Rice cooker for perfectly cooked rice and a lot more
>Egg boiler for perfectly hard-boiled eggs I can take with me to work
>Slow cooker for lots of random and delicious stuff

... What else can I add to my armory? I need to prepare a lot of food and I'm easy to please. I'm just now learning about the magical world of spices.

There are a few places like this in my city. The burgers are great but the experience isn't worth doing all the time at that price. You shouldn't have to pay more than 10 bucks for a standard burger meal.
