Depends how the fish is prepared. Deep fried fish obviously goes best with french fries, but otherwise it depends on the type of fish and the flavours.

most people know that if you inhale too much air while drinking it will make you gassy and cause you to burp
but I realize today that instead of gulping down the air you take into your mouth with the liquid (especially when sucking through a straw) you can simply exhale the air out through your nose before swallowing the liquid you just took into your mouth so then you're not taking ANY air into your stomach when you do swallow it
am I the first person to ever realize this? this is the cure for burping humanity has been waiting for

I went to McDonald's today and got a Filet-O-Fish combo with a bacon cheeseburger on the side. I was eating it in my vehicle in the parking lot and listening to an audiobook when I glanced up and saw the McDonald's worker I ordered outside having a cigarette.
She waved at me and I nodded and had to wait 7 minutes before she went back inside and I could eat in comfort again. I don't think that employees should be bothering or even trying to socialize with customers outside of the McDonald's restaurant or drive through, but that is another story.
I went to McDonald's for dinner tonight and got a McChicken combo with a bacon cheeseburger on the side. As I was driving to the second window the same girl was still working. She was acting somewhat obsequious and attempting small talk when she asked, 'why don't you come eat inside instead of in the parking lot where it is cold'.
That really bothered me for many reasons. First of all, I don't want my routine or actions to be tracked by a fast food employee. Secondly, she should not try to tell me how I should live my life. I do not want to eat inside because I find it less comfortable and would much rather be inside my vehicle listening to an audiobook and enjoying myself and my privacy.
Overall, I think it was very unprofessional to bring this up. I should have a clean slate with each drive through visit, not have to get the third degree because I committed some sort of faux pas. Which I don't think I did, because I often see people eating in fast food parking lots. How does she know I am not busy going to work or somewhere in a rush?
How do you feel about eating in your vehicle in the parking lot of a fast food restaurant versus eating inside the restaurant?

used to go with my grandpa all the time, get dat salad bar. I always had lobster bisque, meatballs, corn nuggets, and salad with bacon bits and creamy italian dressing
then for dessert I would get chocolate icecream with gummy bears, but as I got older I moved towards cookie pieces and strawberries as my topping of choice

Sup /ck/? I recently moved off campus and don't live with my mom so I've got to start cooking for myself. I feel shitty eating so much canned soup and rice but I don't really know anything about cooking.
I also have almost no interest in food. Like, I don't get any pleasure from good food or anything, I just want to eat some cheap food that won't make me feel like shit. Tasting anything better than edible isn't super important to me. Other than fresh fruit, which I really love, I pretty much couldn't care less about taste.
Where does someone like me start with cooking for himself? Pic kinda related.

I used to stop by there after my shift at the hotel ended on Monday at 0000. Nothing tasted better than that greasy burger or the pie a la mode or the goddamn truckstop omelette. My first try at foccacia with my new oven and new peel. I need practice ith the peel.
Pizza dough with poolish, one is baby asparagus and garlic and the other is cherry bomb chiles, lemon drop chiles and onion. Other than that just some olive oil and salt.
