Do you guys like any films about food or cooking?
I just saw the hundred foot journey the other day, it was pretty cute.
>>7636731
looks gay
the only one ive seen was jiro dreams of sushi
its a top tier documentary
I like hundred foot journey, but it really feels like it loses its train of thought after he leaves for the big city. They just sort of wrap it all up, like, "I don't really remember where I was going with this, but here's a happy ending"
Why are the white oreos so much tastier than the black ones?
>>7636702
Because they aren't niggers.

Where can a distinguished gentleman go out to eat in Denver that is semi casual and possibly meet a sweet woman who likes older men?

Oh and not a vegetarian place.

>he thinks Jarlsberg is "good cheese"
I like Jarlsberg. Pretty much any Wisconsin cheese is much better, though.
>>7636561
Me too.
Jarlsberg isn't even a meme cheese, bleu is.
>>7636561
>>7636564
>>7636447
What is the social status of Jarlsberg cheese in europe? Is it common? Is it typical among the proletariat? In America, it's the cheese that is available near the deli and is ridiculously over-priced. Nevertheless, it's delicious. I'm probably the only person within a five mile radius who purchases the stuff.

How can I make a good martini with no shaker or ice? I have chilled vodka and gin so idk.
Also have blue cheese / pimento olives.
No vermouth
How is this a question? You already have the ingredients for the best martini, presuming your gin isn't shit.
Pour chilled gin in a glass and add the blue cheese olives. Wa La
>>7636177
So you asking how to not make a martini, because a Martini is Gin and Vermouth, and even then a Vodka Martini is Vodka and Vermouth.
So you want to know how to make chilled gin or vodka with olives.
Put ice in a glass pour in liquor stir for 30 seconds strain into a chilled glass throw in olives. Bam
>>7636177
3oz Vodka or Gin (your choice)
Three blue cheese olives
In a Martini glass
Done.
Are you stupid?
Today my proctologist to me to cut back on eating red meat, if not totally eliminate it from my diet due to his concerns with my family's history of colorectal cancer, and my recent digestive issues.
>tfw you will never enjoy a perfectly cooked steak again
>tfw no more chargrilled burgers on a summer night
>tfw chicken and beans are your only sources of protein
why live?

Eat the red meat
Well, how much red meat do you go through in a given week?
I eat about a pound of meat total in one week, and not all of it is red (fish and chicken, for example), so maybe about a half pound or so of red meat. What about you?
Would eating a smaller amount of red meat be impossible for you or something? Do you not like fish or eggs?
>having a neighborhood cookout
>making Ball Park Flame Grilled Burgers with Kraft American Singles and Ore Ida french fries on the side
>the food's good but could use a kick
>neighbor brings over a bottle of Heinz Ketchup from his kitchen
My friends, I must say Heinz really saved the day. There's no better addition to a cheeseburger with fries, the classic All-American meal. Made only with the freshest, juiciest tomatoes, it's no wonder Heinz is the world's favorite. Whether you're having Ball Park Hamburgers or Tyson Boneless Chicken Wings, it's the perfect addition to anything.
Grab a bottle at your nearest Safeway today. Heck, buy two and give one to a friend! They won't thank you enough.

Meanwhile I'll be using a real man's Ketchup

Have you ever experienced Ecuadorian cuisine?
I went to Ecuador 2 years ago and I really likes the food, even the stuff I got from food courts was really good.
I live in New York and there are a lot of Ecuadorians here, but I've only been to one Ecuadorian restaurant so far. I ordered a seco de Gallina (I think it's called) and it was pretty good, but not as good as what I had in Ecuador.
If anyone has some recommendations in restaurants around here or dishes you like, please share them.
>>7636505
That must have been bad luck.
>>7636505
Also, you're a tryhard idiot

Everyone goes through a Noma® phase but at some point, you'll snap out of it.
For me it was when the waitress spilled live ants on us.
What about you /ck/?
When the waiter told us about the hummus platter it sounded like a great idea. When he came back 15 minutes later with a mini compost bin full of humus, I realized my mistake.
>>7635709
I thought Noma was just a meme. I watched the carrot video and nearly died laughing. I'd totally go there with some friends and mock it, though.
>>7635709
When I'll be rich enough to go eat there, so probably never.
