do you guys think mcdonalds kinda knows that the kind of people who will order this shit are the kind of people who will eat the entire thing in one sitting?
like i used to work at walmart for a few months and i noticed that a lot of people buying birthday cakes late at night with no decorations were fat as fuck so i suspected they were going to eat it all themselves.
>>7830594
i'm fat but i can't imagine just buying a birthday cake just to munch on
>>7830603
You a faggot or something?
Who gives a fuck I'd just run them judgemental fuckers down with my rascal.
No story with this one: KFC Original Recipe thigh and drumstick, chips, potato and gravy, and coleslaw.
>>7830519
>deep fried chicken
>deep fried potatoes
>potatoes mixed with butter slathered in animal fat and brown coloring
>vegetables stewed in mayo
>americans call this food

What is this called on the KFC menu? Two of these would be the perfect amount of food.
>>7830519
was it hard to cook?
What are your favorite toppings/condiments on a hotdog /ck/?
>>7830266
some chili and cheese and maybe a little mustard
but im open to putting anything on a hotdog, even ketchup
'cha
I really like coney dogs and NY system hot wieners, and my all time stand by has always been mustard, sauerkraut, relish, and onions.
That said, I unironically, 100% honestly love Chicago hot dogs with all the trimmings. I know they seem stupidly over loaded, but it's a really great combination of flavors and textures that really elevates the simple hot dog.
Cheapest meals thread?
Post some cheap, nice tasting recipes, especially if they're your own creation!
I like to make instant chicken noodles and then at the end melt loads of cheese into them, delicous and sticky as FUCK
Convenience foods and cheese aren't cheap. Did you mean to say something like, "lazy meals that someone who can't cook and has low standards can enjoy"?
>>7830268
A bit of both I guess, I'm pretty new to cooking for myself (20 now) and it's not going well.
Noodles are cheap though? 20 pence a pack.
Ramen
Pasta
Rice
Shit sucks
So its my birthday soon, any suggestions on what and where to eat?
Is someone flying you anywhere you want to go in the world and giving you an unlimited food budget, or are you going to say where you're from so that someone might be able to give you helpful suggestions?

Happy Birthday, Viewer.
And yes -I- see everything too.
How do you non-Canadians live without real pure maple syrup?
Without it breakfast just isn't worth eating, maple syrup goes with everything.
Pancakes
Waffles
French Toast
Cheerios
Bacon
Ham
Baked Beans
And even fucking milk.
How do you cope?
>puts sugar syrup on everything
>further proof that canadians are just muricans without the guns
disgusting
You shouldn't have a whole bunch of sugar for breakfast.
(You shouldn't have it at all, really.)
Breakfast is objectively the worst meal of the day so go fuck yourself Canada.
>europeans actually put food waste in the trash so it can fester and stink rather than just flushing it down the sink
>>7830145
>non europeans don't know what a compost bin is so they act smug even after their sinks clog and terrible smells start coming from their kitchens due to rotting food gumming up a mediocre waste disposal process
Please. Unless you are from central europe, don't talk about recycling and trash disposal. It's for your own good so you won't embarrass yourself.

Mac and some cheese
It's noodles and bechamel sauce do you really need a recipe? You can add all sorts of stuff to it and it's fine. I like sweating some onions and bacon before mixing the noodles and sauce but that's not groundbreaking
Food handicap thread? Post foods you can't eat for fucking stupid reasons.
>mfw for some fucked up reason I can't eat most forms of egg or foods with lots of egg in them without feeling like throwing up or having my throat itch like crazy
>mfw I can only eat hard boiled egg
>mfw I've never eaten a good omelet or poached egg and the thought of dippy eggs makes me sick
And it's all probably because my grandma gave me egg at 2 months old.
>Exposure, plain and simple. Scientists tell us that aversions fade away when we eat moderate doses of the hated foods at moderate intervals, especially if the food is complex and new to us. (Don't try this with allergies, but don't cheat either: few of us have genuine food allergies.) Exposure works by overcoming our innate neophobia, the omnivore's fear of new foods that balances the biological urge to explore for them. Did you know that babies who are breast-fed will later have less trouble with novel foods than those who are given formula? The variety of flavors that make their way into breast milk from the mother's diet prepares the infant for the culinary surprises that lie ahead. Most parents give up trying novel foods on their weanlings after two or three attempts and then complain to the pediatrician; this may be the most common cause of fussy eaters and finicky adults--of omnivores manqués. Most babies will accept nearly anything after eight or ten tries.

Sausage rolls, a thermos of soup, a ready and willing vagina/asshole.
Pick two of those three.
Cured meats, both hard and spreadable cheeses, crusty bread, pickles, preserves, olives, dates, exotic fruits, strong mustards. A strong red wine if he can hold his alcohol

Is sriracha a black thing?
No, lol.
From my time as a cashier in a grocery store, years ago, blacks seem to favor Tabasco and Franks Red Hot sauce.
It's a Thai thing popularized in the US by a company started by Vietnamese-Chinese immigrants that's been around for decades but has only just reached flyover land so is hailed as a "meme food", despite having been ubiquitous for the lifespan of most people posting on /ck/.
>>7829389
>MFW there are people on /ck/ still salty that their memefood is called out for what it is and posting about it.
so this is basically a soup where the broth is in the middle of a small party of people and the ingredients are individually cooked by one of these people when eating that particular item is desired?
how fucking retarded is that?
why not toss all the ingredients into a pot with the broth and serve it like a normal soup?
You get to pick what you want to eat. Cook it to the desired doneness. Chill and socialize while eating. Not have to deal with ingrediants left in a boiling soup from the start of the meal that starts to boil into a pile of dog food mush or overcooked leather. Hmmm... I wonder why....
>>7829401
this would imply that conventional soups are shit, why they are not
soups in asian cuisine are generally very tasty and this hot pot whatever just appears to be a silly dismantled soup that everybody shares
you can chill and socialize while eating pretty much anything but i guess the gist is that you are literally eating one thing with everyone and therefore having a more personable eating experience.. kinda gross
but it's not eaten as a soup.. and if the broth is consumed it's made into rice porridge or fried rice
