THICK
>have snacks craving
>no snacks in the house
>eat a tablespoon of half and half sesame oil and light soy sauce
>craving satisfied
I-it's not weird to do that, right /ck/?
you'd do really well in the imperial Japanese navy
I'll snack on small bits of strongly flavored things like kimchi. You can taste it for a long period of time, so only a tiny bit of snack can hold over cravings quite well.
Try a shot of apple cider vinegar. Cured me and would go well with this "dish"
Is there a better vegetable?

As great as it is, spinach is better.
Things only X people do? For instance, whenever we get pizza it comes with a little container of garlic sauce. I know my younger sibling likes to lick it up instead of using it on pizza. What things do your family do that piss you off?

High protein foods.
I was looking at high protein low caloric foods and ended up with canned beans and oatmeal as the top choices. I don't have much time to cook so I can't make elaborate meals and I'm a poorfag so I can't east chicken breast 3 times a day.
Any recommendations?

Can of tuna or salmon
4 scambled eggs, turkey, avocado, salsa burrito.
Chicken stiry fry, rice, veggies takes minutes if you cook the rice ahead of time.
Plenty of options.

Semen, you can Just eat it right Out og your bf's dick
Animal protein has higher bioavailability than plant protein. In addition, plant protein is incomplete, you need both grains and legumes to make the equivalent of a complete animal protein.
Eggs, cheese, and yogurt are better choices for quick protein. Oats are fine if you have milk with them.
I'm sure you get this thread 100000 times a day, but it's my turn now.
I'm not a cook. It's not that I can't do it, it's just that I never made an effort to. One time I tried to make bread following a YouTube recipe, and it turned out disgusting. I'm poor. I barely have any money. I'd like to go to the store and be able to feed myself for a week on around $15-20 dollars.
What do I buy? What do I eat that is a balanced diet? Where do I shop? It's all difficult to take in.
>>7828895
>I want to feed myself for a week for $15-20
you can't. go to a soup kitchen or something. you should probably get a job and start living with higher standards.
>>7828908
I can't? Then what can I do?
Rice and beans
>tastemade
>buzzfeed tasty
>know people who now who think they're great cooks because they know how to jam beef and cheese and dough and maybe some salt and pepper here and there into all kinds of difference shapes and fry it
Jesus Christ kill me why is this trash so popular?
>>7828743
Who in their right mind goes to Buzzfeed for food advice anyway? Anyone who actually cares about good cooking is probably on Serious Eats.

Normiebook is flooded with these awful sped-up recipes form buzzfeed and shit. It's everywhere.

How do I gain weight healthily? I'm basically a skeleton and was borderline anorexic up to about 4 months ago, so what should be in my diet for gaining weight in a healthy manner?
>>7828634
drink a lot of beer, like a six pack a night, for 8-10 months to bulk up, then start working out. worked for me.
Your additional calories should be coming primarily form plant sources, not milk or other memes. So up your intake of starch (bread, pasta, rice, beans, lentils, corn etc.), sugar/fruits and, if/as needed, add nuts, seeds and nuts butters.
Do not up your intake of saturated fat and animal products, as excess saturated fat is stored in the liver and around the internal organs, and also causes diabetes and heart disease.

My diet is really out of whack and I get more than half my calories from hard alcohol these days, but that seems like a lot of food for breakfast.
That bread looks pretty decent though, and now I'm craving dolmas.

Why is it that I can buy deep fried chicken strips from my local takeaway for cheaper than I can chicken breasts from the supermarket?
>>7828447
Your takeaway buys in bulk and thus gets a discount.
It's also possible that they are buying meat that is marked down because it's just about to expire.
Because they get that shit for pennies wholesale and sell a great volume of that garbage to neckbeards like you
>>7828454
this
also, if you're buying chicken breasts at the supermarket you're doing it wrong. the breast is the most expensive retail cut of chicken. buy whole chickens instead. cut them up. use the breast meat to make your chicken strips. then use the rest of the chicken for other purposes. buying whole chicken is much much cheaper than breast meat.
When was the last time you had salmon fritters and why wasn't it today?
>>7828392
That's a salmon burger without the buns, mang.
What even is a salmon fritter
Am I supposed to google it
My grandma used to make them all the time but now the dementia is kicking in hard.
What's the safest and cheapest way to eat lots of fish? I used to eat tons of canned tuna before my mom scared me away from it with mercury stories, now all I get is the occasional packaged of smoked salmon which is pretty pricey

It's never a bad idea to add anchovies to your frozen dinner before microwaving it.

Je sui desole, my name is Le Jean.
I’m a 27 year old American Gourmet (Food fan for you etrangers). I cook french toast and quiche on my stove, and spend my days perfecting my art and make superior french wine. (Chateau, Bordeaux, Champagne)
I train with my baguette every day, this superior bread can cut clean through gourmands because it is baked over a thousand times, and is vastly superior to any other bread on earth. I earned my baguette license two years ago, and I have been getting better every day.
I speak french fluently, both Normandy and the swiss dialect, and I write fluently as well. I know everything about french history and their national convention, which I follow 100%
When I get my french visa, I am moving to Paris to attend a prestigious restaurant to learn more about their magnificent food culture. I hope I can become a chef for a 5 stars restaurant or a prestigious hotel!
I own several chef's hats, which I wear around town. I want to get used to wearing them before I move to France, so I can fit in easier. I behead my elders and seniors and speak French as often as I can, but rarely does anyone manage to respond.
Wish me luck in France!
