Why do people pour drinks into a glass instead of drinking from the bottle or can? I can understand with wine where the smell might affect the taste so you want it in a more open container for easier smelling. But why do people pour soda, juice, beer, etc. from a single serving bottle or can into a glass? What is the porpoise behind it?

I don't like drinking from the bottle. it creates suction/pressure issues for me and my lips. I drink it straight from the can if I get cans. I prefer cans if I can get my preferred beer in cans.

I keep seeing all these videos where people fry foods and freeze them during prep.

I work at a local chain and I wonder if doing this for chicken would be good for efficiency (we could just freeze our stuff over night) and to cut the cost of making random amounts of our breading.

Is making your own frozen box food better or worse than the actual box food?

They freeze liquid or soft food before frying so it doesn't fall apart you dumbass.
>>
>>7822337
I know why they do it... I'm asking if there is anything wrong with doing it? Does it make it soggy or anything if you freeze it too long?
>>
>>7822320
If you freeze certain things for too long, it may result in a frozen or uncooked middle after the outside is done cooking. How could you not foresee that?

Have you ever been so frustrated with the outcome of a meal that you wanted to scream? Or frustrated that you'll never be able to cook something as good as you just ate?

Take Taco Bell Breakfast for example, for $2.99 you can get a delicious breakfast Crunchwrap that includes bacon, eggs and wrapped in Mexi bread. It changes the way you look at the American dining landscape. It's that good.

Combine that with the incredible customer service and the fact that they serve whole milk and you've got one fucking amazing meal, all for $2.99

Head on down to Taco Bell tomorrow morning and get some breakfast. Taco Bell! I'm loving it!

I went to taco bell and the female cashier was visibly disgusted while handing me my change because I have a skin condition that makes the skin on my palms dry up and peel off.

I would be offended, but now I take a perverse pleasure in watching them squirm and knowing there's nothing they can do to avoid it.

Cured egg yolks:

I want to do this- who has done it? Is it worth it? Do you have any tips? What salt/sugar ratio do you use? (I'm just using regular eggs)
Hopefully will document progress (though apparently it is supposed to take 1-3 weeks??)

Also, curing general (also curious about salmon but even more nervous about that!!)

mah nigga. well worth it, especially after you get your first few batches out of the way and start exploring more exotic cures. I grate that shit on anything, its even better than parm in some applications. you can use them to trick classy white bitches into thinking you're not a complete fuckup, too.

and tips
>move the yolks to a fresh cure on day 3, speeds up dehydration dramatically
>I like 60/40 salt/sugar

I think one of the /ck/ challenge people got the whole process to fit in a week by changing the cure every day and keeping them uncovered with a fan blowing over them

What do you eat when you're drunk and feel empty.
Or do you just not eat. I guess that's more likely.
I think I'll make some spaghetti and put on some olive oil and drink another beer.

Consider making a simple tuna salad with fresh tuna instead of canned

would the end result be a delicious tuna salad the canned variety could never compete with

or would it be exactly the same and I have just squandered an expensive ingredient when a cheap one would be sufficient?

Mistake

The only salad that should be made with fresh tuna is poke
>>
Fuck that, if you're going to shill out for good tuna savor it. Do not dilute the experience with a bunch of bullshit. Learn how to cook well or how make sushi if you want to appreciate good tuna.
>>
>>7821507
but there isn't much better than a nice tuna salad sandwich on toasted white bread with a glass of milk
