Who big four here, i know it underpaid but its one of the best path into getting you into that six figure salary before 30.
How the fuck? By becoming a partner? Because otherwise you'll only see low 5 figures for the rest of your pitiful life.
I can work there with my degree, but I picked a lazy government job.
Starting my own biz in my spare time.

>one of the best path into getting you into that six figure salary before 30.
lolno
It's a cool job, and one of my friends works for the big 4, but he's told me in no uncertain terms that he'd much rather go to IB as he'll never crack $100,000 unless he goes partner which is a matter of luck combined with talent.
Best path to six figures before 30 is becoming a good salesman. Doesn't matter what you're selling; those skills will net you a good job.
Or get a math degree. You'll get any job you want $300k starting.
I love the concept of Bitcoin but I don't think it'll be the new world currency. The powers that be would lose control and they killed presidents over it. I have 5 BTC in case I'm wrong.
21 companies band together to form their own distributed ledger that is better. Digital Assest Holdings, IBM, JP Morgan just to name a few.
Bitcoin fucked up. It went no where fast.

Ok so bitcoin is going to be the new world currency, got it.
>>1005709
I don't think you understand the point of Bitcoin: it works best when the most people are using it. An alternative blockchain wouldn't have the same level of security that Bitcoin does because the hash rate would be lower and a "better" design won't change that.
Bitcoin HAS won and the use of non-bitcoin based blockchain technology won't damage the main network which already powers a shit load of things.

I love to see how other people fail. I love to hear that other people are struggling to survive.
Some of you will label me as unsuccessful, jealous, subhuman and cunt. OK, I won't judge you, because I don't really care about your opinion.
Btw. I've tried to be positive, I've tried to help people. But it just didn't worked and I was suffering while I was doing this. I was created for other purpose. Destruction. It is embedded deep inside me.
And I have to admit the fact that I love failure and annihilation. I'm even somehow good at it. I'm good in helping other people fail.
Am I alone in this world? What is the business who is succeeding while others are failing?

Are you drunk?
I feel like you're drunk.
But that's okay. As long as you're enjoying life and you aren't breaking the law, why should I not welcome you as being a failure?
>>1004511
Lots of people fail, thats how they grow as individuals and become successful later.
anyone who made it big, I guarantee you, failed at some point in their lives which became the turning point towards success.
of course there are those who continously fail at life: crippling debt, no career, children too early etc
>>1004543
>Are you drunk?
Yes. Just a little. It's Friday m8.
hi /biz/
basically, i'm a clueless minimum-wage who never really cared about money but : I inherited around 70k CADs and I don't know what to do with it (yes most of it are in savings accounts but that barely even grows 1.5%/year). Seeing how CAD value is going down should I do something about it?
>>1004071
CAD is what is generally known as a 'shadow currency' which sounds ominous but mostly means it is attached to a larger economy, but acts oppositely to news about that economy. the Swiss franc is the same way for the Euro, and the Aussie dollar shadows the Yen.
CAD fluctuations are generally just a byproduct of US economic news being good or bad. The whole Federal Reserve rate hike announcement has people thinking the US economy is back on track, which means CAD will decline.
First thing you should do with your inheritance is to wipe out any debt you may have. Car payments, mortgages, personal loans, whatever. Loan interest cuts deeply into your net profit
>>1004071
Im thinking the same thing. Hey /biz/ should I convert all my CAD savings into USD before CAD plummets further, or do you think it will stabilize around 70 cents?
>>1004083
It will go below .70, as long as oil keeps dropping. Imo move your money in USD or BTC.
So I've just dedicated 4 years of my life to the study of this beautiful people and culture and I have a giant student debt hanging over my head, and no opportunities on the job market.
Years studying navajo archaeology, navajo language, navajo folk tales and religion, navajo civil infrastructure, navajo law, navajo mathematics, navajo visual art, navajo astrology, navajo music, navajo culinary tradition, navajo medicine, navajo tribal politics, navajo econimics, navajo finance, navajo agriculture and subsistence living, navajo informatics, navajo feminism and navajo theology, and all I'm qualified to do is be a federal representative on some godforesaken reservation.
I know I chose to go into the humanities, but surely there must be some transferable skills to the job market. I didn't just waste four years. I learned skills, real world skills that should land me a job.
Help me out /biz/.

Wait, people idolize this guy?
Hello guys,
I got promoted to the top position on a company kindof like Staples, with 8 employees, 3 of them are fucking useless cockroaches... who happen to be 18 to 20 years old....
These guys often show childish behaviors and altho I know anger is not the answer, sometimes I just want to kill them slowly at the building's basement.
Anyway, how do i deal with people like this?
I would fire them and hire more experience people but I can't at the momment because I have to take care of bigger problems... most of them have been fixed by now but these anoying little vermin... jesus fucking christ I just want to put a glue gun on their eyes and shoot them.
They trashtalk, avoid working, take longer hours in lunch time - 50% of the work days, they work well, the other 50 I just want to cut their testicles off and make them eat each other's.
The rest of employees are amazing tho. Vermin problem has been in the company for a couple years now. They used to steal as well. I took care of that with some security measures.
I try to show them the right way to do things, I don't want to be the evil asshole boss like the ones I had before but they get the worst of me sometimes.
Maybe I need to manage my anger but I also need tips on these motherfuckers.
I think I will eventually fire them but I just want to have hope I won't have to...
>>1003960
Is this a start up?
>>1003975
no, I hate startups.
the company is 30 years old, owned by a jewish family. I'm myself not jewish tho
Stealing gives immedieate dismissal with cause if you happen to catch them stealing, you can fire them on the spot.
Document the bad behaviours/unproductivity. Send them letters saying that they have a warning for such behaviours (granted they are actually bad behaviours) and then fired them if they dont comply

So I got invited to join the freemasons /biz/.
Is it true that you can get preference and priority for all kinds of business deals and completely bypass job interviews or is it just a bunch of middle aged men who failed at life and want to feel like they're part of something private and powerful?
Just a bunch of old men that still think they're relevant.
Congrats though, now you get to cut to the front of the line for a minimum wage cuck job
>>1003411
>So I got invited to join the freemasons /biz/.
invitation was just revoked
>>1003411
Maybe it would help with networking a little bit... But you shouldn't join if that's your only reason for it. Although I'm sure a lot of people do.
Really the freemasons are just an old boy's club and in many lodges the youngest age of people are like ~40 years old. It's really dying out because they're not recruiting enough younger members and the ones that do come along stop showing up after a short while because they feel kind of out of place where everyone is quite a bit older.
If that doesn't bother you though then check it out. It's a great time and you'll have a lot of fun.
Is it happening yet /biz/? How low can it go?
Wait until it drops below 1000/oz or can it get lower?
>>1002888
>can it get lower?
yes. in theory, it can go to zero.
>>1002902
If your theory says that, it's wrong. No one would pass up gold for $150.

"You're going into sales? Oh wow, hey! Sell me this pen!"
Q. Do you guys think investing in real estate is a good business?
My plan is I will invest in houses and small buildings that are cheap starting out, fix them up and sell them or rent. Then keep saving money until I can purchase nice expensive properties.
Lot of people already way ahead of you, bro.
How will you know what's worth fixing up? By the time you conduct structural repairs, renovate the interior, do landscaping....it all eats into any and all profit. Plus some places are sold cheap because they're basically fucked. No amount of money will save it.
Unless you're qualified and licensed to do the repairs yourself, it's a high risk, low margin game.
You'd be better off buying an old run down shithole on a large block in an area that's gaining popularity. Bulldoze it, build high density housing. Then sell subdivided lots. But that takes a lot of capital.
>>1002823
You're going to want to avoid doing repairs that are more complicated than basic bricklaying and carpentry.
Paying a contractor to fix complicated shit is cheaper than fixing it yourself and then your tenants being like OH LAWDIE LAWD WE CAN SUE THIS GUY FOR LAWTS O MONEY, THANK YOU LAWD JESUS and then they can't sue you but you still get fined for violating the law.
Me and my brother will be doing most of the repairs ourselves, we will hire people for the other work that needs to be licensed. We would be buying properties on busy main streets. We will not be buying shitty broken buildings we will be buying buildings that are just closed down and need cosmetic and electrical repairs. None will have any structural damage.
