Top cryptocurrency gainers in 2017. Buy these in equal proportions and you will be a rich man by 2018
the entire cryptocurrency market cap will triple in 2017 to $30 billion so holding any cryptocurrency will make you money.
>bitcoin
Bitcoin price will double during 2017. Holding some bitcoin is advisable.
>ethereum
Ethereum already won the "smart crypto" race, it has a critical mass of developers behind it. Ethereum market cap will triple during 2017
>waves
The biggest crypto crowdsale of 2016 outside of the DAO will begin to bear fruit next year and will grow to have a billion dollar market cap.
>potcoin (maybe)
If weed is legalised potcoin could grow to be the most used crypto besides BTC. If this happens, i predict potcoin will have a 200 + million dollar market cap in 2017 meaning 100x growth.
>smaller cap cryptos
literally any of the smaller market cap cryptos currently traded will likely see 10 - 100x growth during 2017

>will double
>will triple
>will grow to have a billion dollar market cap
>will have a 200 + million dollar market cap
Where did you get your crystal ball from?
>>1578022
Literally anything. Just avoid putting all your eggs in to one. Particularly avoid XRP, XMR, NXT, FCT.
If it was my money i would have $500 in BTC $200 in ETH, $200 in Waves and $100 in a bunch of smaller cap cryptos with big ambitions.
Avoid appcoins and avoid gamecoins.
The key with speculation is to buy stuff with big ambitions and good dedicated people behind them.

Nah, stay away from Waves.
>becoming a multi-millionaire before 30
Who else thinks about how to do this every day?
>>1577352
I used to.
I made my first million at 32.
I was a multimillionaire for 2 months when I was 38.
then I was a multimillionaire again from 39-40.
I went below a million from 41-43.
Currently 44 and a millionaire again.
for a while.
after a while you stop thinking about it, it has no real effect on your life beyond a certain point.
>>1577352
From everything I've researched so far, it seems like the ONLY ways to do this(other than inheriting it) is to:
>learn how to allocate capital and start some kind of business somehow
>learn how to find discounted cash flows and invest other peoples money somehow
I see no other way. I'm 21 and I want to get this show on the road.
>>1577354
having 1 million is not enough in developed countries these days to live luxuriously or have freedom. you have to take your 1 million and go to some rural place or poor country like thailand to live well. the minimum required to be considered rich is making over 3 million net profit in a lifetime
Why do college graduates get so upset with positions require experience?
I'm a hiring manager for a big accounting firm and let me give you some reality.
Employers look at every thing you've done since you've turned 18. Education is just 1 thing. Education doesn't get you jobs, it is a requirement. For our CPAs, you are expected to have an accounting degree with a CPA license. It is no different than a factory expecting you to have a high school diploma and GED and able to pass a drug test and background check. It is not a free ticket to a job, it is the minimal requirement.
Employers don't give two shits about your GPA. They look at internships and organizations you were in and what jobs you held while studying. I can care less if you got a 4.0GPA and aced your CPA exam. Why didn't you do more? We have another applicant that worked a full time job while getting the same degree as you. We had a lady work 2 part time jobs to take care of her child while getting the same degree as you. We had a man that worked part tile and went away on weekends for Army Reserve training while getting the same degree as you, and at the same time President of the accounting club.
Stop thinking your ticket is some free ticket to a job and you don't have to do anything else. You aren't a special snowflake for getting a college degree. So when you end up at your bottom of the barrel job at a staffing agency making $17/hour doing payroll or not even lucky to find such a shitty job and become a supervisor at some warehouse babysitting Mexicans, you are the only person to blame. Stop pointing fingers. Try harder next time.
And jobs should be relevant to your field of study, not working at a fast food joint. There's no excuse to why you couldn't hold a 20-30 hour a week job working at a bank as a teller or personal banker. There's no excuse at why you didn't find a full time job in the Summer doing payroll, taxes, internal auditing, etc.

There won't be anything of this magnitude again though, because technology in general is becoming more centralized and the barriers to entry have already become insurmountable to anybody who doesn't have a large amount of money. I don't think there will ever again be a time where somebody could become rich from building something in their garage/bedroom.
Why aren't you guys investing in the best performing asset class in human history?
Presenting the CBUS Infrastructure Property Fund which has performed at 15.48% p.a over the last 32 years!
Also with lower fee's than retail managed funds in Australia.
There are fat better super options out there if you are willing to SMSF....
Yes over 32 years this is a great rate of return, but after you take out fees and tax... it is nowhere near as good as some of the other market offerings.

These fudged figures and the underlying corruption within Union owned funds are holding back our entire $2trillion industry with nothing but dodgy propaganda that wouldn't fly anywhere else in the world.
It's really hard to fight the propaganda too, the media, Unions and government are all colluding together and the reason why is fucking hilarious.
>>1573155
I'm a Financial Planner and this is the type of shit I have to contend with. They fudge their performance figures, their fee's, funnel money to Unions and influence policy and elections.
It's really shocking watching people from all over the world talking about managed funds and investments, then looking at Australia and just seeing the level of propaganda.

Doesnt your uni have a career services department? Talk to them. Your gpa is good they should be able to do something for you.
>>1582005
What is a stats degree?
How is it different from a math degree?
you're pretty fucked. your degree/major and GPA is fine, but with your lack of experience and connections you just cant compete with other people that have those things. either fix your situation by getting some experience or connections, or go do a masters degree or something like that to give you more time. the third option is probably the most likely for you, and that is getting a really shitty job that few other people want.

I'd like to have a discussion about bitcoin.
I'm educating myself on the topic as I have noticed that some larger financial bodies and even governments are becoming interested in the "block chain" technology.
I am of the old style of thinking that money only has value when backed by a government.
That being said there seems to be some value that block chain technology can offer these government bodies.
In my mind governments will get involved in some way with all forms of successful financial instruments.
Question: is there any value to bitcoin once it comes under government scrutiny, in other words, is bitcoins only value it's ability to transact anonymously?
Question: if the current financial system and bitcoin are not compatible, what is the likely hood that block chain technology and bitcoin will be outlawed by the government?
I understand that bitcoins current value is it's ability to create trust between participants in a transaction but I still believe that these currencies carry a huge amount of risk as they are not backed by any governing authority.
>>1581856
I understand 4chan is not the best place to ask these questions. I'll go looking for a bitcoin forum then.
>>1581862
I'll help out I guess. Are your only questions the ones you listed?
>>1581856
>>1581862
1. Right now the value is primarily propped up by speculators, to my knowledge, and would be valued considerably less if the rest of the "normal" community had to maintain it. It is gaining more "natural" value due to more companies accepting it, but right now it isn't anything substantial. Anonymity is a decent but not overwhelming portion of the value derived from the features in Bitcoin (in my opinion).
2. The blockchain and Bitcoin would likely be outlawed, but mostly due to the fact that the government can't control it. Note that outlawed doesn't necessarily mean prohibited, and potentially just means "taxed to death".
Also the
>governing authority
meme
While you're right, fiat money really only has value when backed by a government, money should be backed by some sort of goods. Again, in my opinion. Be that gold, silver, oil, wheat, whatever, if it is exchangeable for a note it can be backed by that. A government just happens to be an effective vessel to maintain holdings of something of value.
