That steph promo made me fucking cringe. But aside from being a memer, why the fuck would you be mad at Owens winning? He's earned it and didnt get shoved down our throats like Finn or Roman. It doesn't. What bothers me is people chanting "you deserve it" after all those guys efforts to give him heel heat.. Owens eliminating Big Cass, slacking outside the ring while others fight in the ring for a big part of the match and getting the victory handled by Haich.

It's about what draws money, and right now only genetic freaks (roided or not) like Lesnar or Cena draw the real money to keep the company at that level. Plus, people still like realism, and in a real fight, a guy like Balor would have no chance against a guy like Roman after dropping him like a potato bag from 7 ft height.

This was just an awesome night for the sport, desu guys.

The old days - the days when your favorite star was a roid-head who died at 40 - are over. When they talked about a "New Era" before, I didn't really believe it until tonight. Owens is so different and so fresh: he really represents the audience that relates to him. I'm just so fucking happy we have someone to cheer for FINALLY.

For the longest time I looked at the screen and saw nobody I could ever relate to. Thankfully now I can say I do. And not only that... he's Universal Champion.
