Aka "a coin flip decides which is better"
IMO I like the use of the colors, but the knee's while cartoon accurate (in colors at least) it'll be off putting over hasbro's black and light grey.
I'm glad to be getting this even if its a redeco, I just hope he doesn't suffer as much as the hasbro version with its QC issues
>inb4 they're made in the same factories
That's why I'm hoping they noticed and fired the dumbass incharge of it but I shan't hold my breathe
Alright /tfg/, moment of truth.
What's the absolute fucking worst Transformers toy of all time?

Bought a sealed mothra along while ago decided I need to display some monsters. I generally rotate my collection every once in awhile. So unbox my sh Godzilla, Mechagodzilla, Gamera and King Ghidorah. And then unbox my sweet baby mothra so colourful and bright the perfect contrast to single coloured monsters. And the wing is broken without even a chance to hamhands it. Ah shit bought it too long ago for like $60 now people sell it for 4x the amount. Can't even hotglue it since the piece broke at the joint
So what about you/toy/
Any sob stories, have you bought anything broken? Broken anything accidentally or on purpose?
It may be broken, but its your mothra.
Cherish it forever anon.
Also not your blog.
Buy another joint.

> Can't even hotglue it since the piece broke at the joint
You wouldn't hotglue a joint in the first place.
Are you sure you can't pin and glue it?

How come there aren't more figurines based on witches, /toy/?
u ok, anon?
>>5895995
Go to the Marvel, DC and Monster High generals, you'll find more than enough.
There's a shit ton of witch themed dolls out there anon, if you're not gonna be a bitch about them being 'girl toys'.
Does someone know what this is
It's for clogged toilets.
>>5895802
yes i do.
and its not toy related
Am I the only one who feels awkward going into stores to buy figures? Like I just feel ashamed doing it? How do I stop feeling like this without quitting my hobby?
>>5895702
I don't really have problems with it.
Only thing that's starting to make me feel a little weird is when the workers at TRU start recognizing you...
grow some fucking balls
>>5895702
i used to, back when i first started. eventually realized the people who worked there have better things to deal with than whether or not they care that i'm an adult who collects toys. same with the people shopping there.

Who read ToyFare growing up? I had it in my comic pull list back when I collected. I looked forward to it more than Wizard or any other comic I subbed to.
I remember when I first discovered ToyFare. I was in a grocery store with my mom and I saw the Power of the Force AT-AT on the cover and HAD to have it. I was so excited to see new Star Wars stuff...
Great magazine, gave me tons of laughs over the years. I miss Zach Malamute.
Came for the toy magazine, stayed for the Twisted Toyfare Theatre.
The G.I Joe Guide from 2006 one issue became one of my favourites.
>got my first issue while in new york for christmas in 2003
>just thought I'd like at all the neat new shit coming out
>got that and banter between the toys on every page
I subscribed as soon as I got back to my home state and didn't end it until the final issue with vader on the front, I was so sad to see it go.
It was the only magazine I've ever read every word of from cover to back cover every single issue.
So I'm going to Singapore in December. What are the best places for toys/figures/models? I've been once before and was sorta let down by the stuff that google turned up.
There's a antiques and toys flea market at China Square Central mall on Sundays alongside the regular shops there. It generally represents the toy market in the country so try going there first.
Anything you're particularly interested in?
>>5895127
It depends on what you're getting, retard
>>5895127
China Square Central is the best place i found, it has the most figure stores in one place at least. Go on a Sunday when the market is on for stalls selling more figure/hobby stuff on the ground floor.
dont expect any figure store in Singapore to be cheap though.
For those unfamiliar, "Plamo" is a shortened form of "plastic model." If it's made of plastic, someone can probably help you here.

SD Group Build
Rules:
Pick up an SD anything, plane, Gundam/other MS, whatever, if it's generally an SD it counts (so I hope to see someone do a D-Style). Obviously, per all group builds, you'll want to paint it.
Submissions:
Email it to [email protected]
USE AN ACTIVE EMAIL ADDRESS
Due Date: November 1st
Good news! A kind anon has purchased some prizes for the group build. He has decided to do a random drawing rather than judge them like I did in the previous group build. Winners will be contacted via email.
For those curious I intend to start the secret santa signups on October 1st.

Need your help my dudes. Anyone built this yet? How is it?
Reposting in new thread.
I need some advice. The shoulder armor joint of my RG GP01 full burnern broke at the tong and the plastic cement I'm using to reattach it isn't holding up. I've tried taking a bit of the runner and using it to sure up the break but even then it still isn't strong enough.
Should I just resort to using gorilla super glue or what?

I really love the hardhead model, probably my favourite of the line. I have a sneaking suspicion it was given preference due to the characters popularity from the headmasters cartoon in japan.

What's the best way to troll Black Six on BZP without getting banned?
Is Secret Santa-Anon around still? Are you planning on doing it again this year? Does somebody else need to take the reigns?
I personally had a great time last year. I know he started sign ups around this time and I want to make sure it happens again this year
Never been on /toy/ every time Secret Santa comes around, so what's the gist? You get randomly selected to receive a gift from an anon through the mail?
Anyone remember the big shitshow last year with an anon not sending a gift because he didn't expect to really receive anything himself?
Then he didn't feel bad when he did receive his gift and argued with several anons about how he didn't think it was fucked up.
Hey guys today i visited my flea market and picked this sexy russian guy for 20$ TWENTY WITH BOTH THUMBS still on

>>5894430
Nothing much that's notable but I did get the Axalara T9 (big Bionicle set) in box with most of the bags in tact and all the pieces for $15 earlier this year. Quite the fun set.
