I'm unsure, but would this be a board suitable for Airsoft? If so... Airsoft thread

delete this thread before Funko start making toys of it.
How does your girlfriend feel about you being into the whole toy thing?
She's a fan too? She couldn't care less? She shits on it?
My fiance thinks my collection is cool, she supports my hobby. She occasionally collects plushes, if she likes them enough, and she's a huge BttF fan so she has multiple version of doc, Marty, and the delorean around. Thinking about getting her Hot Toys Marty some day, I feel like she'd love that.

c-cute!
Hey /toy/ I have an inquiry.
I am trying to sell some figures from my collection. They have been unboxed, but I have the original packaging, all the parts, and the figures are in good as new condition. How much should I downscale them based on their condition, or upscale them based on their availability? I looked at prices online but I am not sure if they truly represent the price I should sell them for.
Put things up at a price you think they will sell for, and depending on how fast you want them to move and how much legwork you are willing to do.
If you're downscaling because of space and don't care about making any possible profit and just want the shit gone, err on the low side and go for lots where there are a few things that don't seem worth selling individually. Throw a desirable thing in a lot with crap and price it midrange and you'll be guaranteed to offload your shit fast because some mark will buy the lot to get "a deal" on a more expensive fig but actually ends up with a bunch of crap that's their problem now.
fuck off

As much as you would pay for the item you are selling m8. If people want to haggle, they will.
Who else gonna get the new Yowies?
The previous set went on sale for 10 cents each at my local Wal Mart so it was really easy forme to get them all. Hoping that happens again with these.
>>5875457
my local walmart had an empty case. are they better than kinder surprise?
>>5875463
The chocolate isn't great but the figures look really good I think. I like blind bag type toys.
>>5875457
Are you the guy who bought 'em all and sent them out to anons? If so, thanks again man, these guys adorn my desk.
So i found this cat toys somewhere in my house and I remember something of them but I'm not sure from where. Can anyone tell me if this toys were part of an anime or a cartoon or just popular toys?
>>5874763
Oh shit, Cyborg Kuro-chan, a manga also adapted to anime.
I used to have tons of these toys, thought they pretty great.
>>5874763
>>5874792
fuck yeah kuro chan, this toyline was pretty awesome in hindsight, with the interchangable parts and the many variants of the same characters, but each one had a different expression and weapon, so you can partswap to get the ideal one for you
these things probably kickstarted my love for head and part swaps. the one with interchangable eyes is my favourite for the same reason
sadly since the limbs are bendies, the things are prone to break soon or later

Monthly Building Challenge:
Your challenge this month is to create /pol/-inspired MOC depicting whatever atrocities August may bring
Well, there's the proper challenge. Thanks OP!
Last thread had too many shitposters, Bo-Bandy.

This is perfect.
I asked for this. What a fucking monkeys paw this toyline turned out to be.
I wish NECA would get the license and just re-release their old figures, would be better than this shit.
Knowing Diamond this thing will break by sneezing on it. Slimer also looks pretty fucking weak.
>>5874356
I know, but at least the NECA would look better.
Fuck, NECA, Diamond, DC Collectibles, all of them are so fucking fragiles.McFarlane would probably also be on that list but I don't think they include enough articulation these days to have anything to break.
>>5874367
I buy Marvel Selects and have never had a break, but I supposed I can't speak to the quality of non-MS DST figures.
Literally, I can't.
With the new Titans Returns figures and the upcoming Do a Battles figures, I'm really getting into small playsets and figures.
What other lines are out there?
I've been looking at:
- Starcom
- Air Raiders
- Micromachines/Galoob
- Micro Masters
Multimac was a favorite of mine as a child.
Shit, forgot pic.
>>5874410
Oh nice.
I've been trying to find pic related. I love this little set. I like the idea of super micro articulated figures.
Hey guys, I have over 150 star wars, GI Joe and Halo action figures.
Some of them I even modified, custom painted or completely customized.
I listed it on eBay for 1,500$, with best offer included. It quickly gained traffic, in 2 days it had 100 views and 3 watches.
I took it down because I was afraid someone would buy it and I wasnt ready to part ways, but now im not sure.
What I want to do, is find a dedicated team of nerds who stop motion animate, to bring my toys to life. I would be the donor and director. I used to animate these toys, but I stopped because it was a pain in the ass to deal with and time consuming, that's why I was selling them. But now I have renewed vigor to find a team of animators so I dont have to sell my toys. lol.
What are your thoughts?
TL;DR - Former animator who gave up animating, but now wants to do it again with a team. Should I sell my toys for 1.5k$ or animate?
>>5873337
That's a nice collection OP. I'm also buying figures partly for photography projects since i find animation to be incredibly tedious.
Why did you feel the need to sell these to begin with?
>>5873337
Animate man. Do it. You see an opportunity you've been waiting for, take it.
How many people didn't take that chance and took the comfortable choice? Many and I am guilty of it too.
Your choice isn't a hard one. Its only you that is holding back. Its only you that is not taking that chance to do what you want. Its that doubt that is making you second guess yourself.
Animate those toys.
What is the best Jackie Chan figure out there? I've seen a few, but how good are they and are there any good lesser known ones
>>5873393
That'll be Jackie Chan as jabroni #17 from Enter the Dragon movie.
>>5873420
Post your toys' selfies.
Sorry for the image.jpg I'm on vacation and brought some toys for pics.
