Bought a sealed mothra along while ago decided I need to display some monsters. I generally rotate my collection every once in awhile. So unbox my sh Godzilla, Mechagodzilla, Gamera and King Ghidorah. And then unbox my sweet baby mothra so colourful and bright the perfect contrast to single coloured monsters. And the wing is broken without even a chance to hamhands it. Ah shit bought it too long ago for like $60 now people sell it for 4x the amount. Can't even hotglue it since the piece broke at the joint
So what about you/toy/
Any sob stories, have you bought anything broken? Broken anything accidentally or on purpose?
>>
It may be broken, but its your mothra.

Cherish it forever anon.

Also not your blog.
>>
Buy another joint.

You wouldn't hotglue a joint in the first place.

Are you sure you can't pin and glue it?

Try one of those UV Resin pens. I've fixed tons of NECA figures with it!

how does this even work?
>>

It doesn't really. You squirt on the glue, put the parts together, hold the "UV light" up to it for a bit. Then to let it "really cure well" you let it sit for 24 hours.
Just like regular Superglue.
It's just a gimmick. It does the same thing as superglue. It holds fast, but if you want it to cure you have to let it sit. The light is just to make you think it's some sort of wonder creation.

That's not how uv welding work. You don't use it like super glue. You place it over the part that you need to stay together , imagine taping up a stick you snapped in half . So pretty much around the broken area. The uv light with harden the glue around the area so both broken piece will stay together .
