Does anyone know what these dolls are? We found them at goodwill and have no clue what they are.

those hipster vinylshits. I forget the artist's name. I have a small blindbox one, yours look quite large.
They might be worth money on ebay, if you're interested.
We were more just looking for where they came from.

Just got back from a 10 hour class for work. I am now a Catering Coordinator for Red Robin Gourmet Burgers and Brews.
Woot wooot WOOOOOOT!!!!
Our Franchise will be rolling out a Catering service soon and I'm going to be one of my store's two coordinators. which means I'll be verifying orders, helping get them ready, managing delivery drivers (We're working on a better name than that since they do much more than drive) Deliverying orders myself.and learning operations work that goes with the catering job. (Par levels for supplies and upkeeping the vehicals when our store finally gets one)

Lolllll @ having a burger place cater your event. Who would actually do this? Burgers don't keep well, they get hard and rubbery, so unless you're grilling them on the spot this service is dead in the water.
Because we needed a new one I guess.
Haven't seen a single Echo or Foxtrot series here, woe is me.

I can't really be bothered to dig him out to photo him right now but is the old Season 2 camo flame marine still considered rare or valuable? I had the Season 1 spartan somewhere too and heard he was a bit of a collector's item. Bit of a layman on these threads so can anyone explain?
>>5912094
The thing about Mega Bloks is there isn't nearly the same kind of collectors market that Lego enjoys, not that I've really seen anyway. Early series rares like those are definitely hard to come by but there's a couple things in the way of making bank off them, one being the aforementioned lack of a market. The other thing is up until a couple years ago the minifigs were of an older, less articulated design, people getting into MB stuff now are somewhat spoiled by the updated minifigs and tend to dismiss the older ones.
In all fairness the early series active camo figs aren't flawless, from my experience their hands tend to break over time more frequently than non-translucent ones, I ended up getting a bunch of some MB Marvel character on clearance just for a supply of hands.
But yes, the Active Camo flame marine from Series 2 came in limited quantities and you might be able to find someone looking to fill a gap in their collection, but outside of ebay I don't have much idea where to look for potential buyers.

Does anyone have this yet? I was told a few days ago that my preorder won't arrive till mid-October (I live in Australia), but I'm considering cancelling it because of something I saw in a review video. On the prototype shown here (image from their website) the top of his fists end in that sharp and round piece, but in the video review I saw, the fists have this shell-like thing covering it (in the post below). Basically I hate the shell covering and will cancel if he doesn't come with at least one set of hands as shown in the prototype, does anyone have it yet and can confirm or not whether the fists are like in the prototype or like the 1/4 scale mark 45?
I know it's a pretty particular thing but if has the shell covering fists it'll be a dealbreaker for me, and I've been looking forward to it since I preordered it at the start of the year

Whatever you do , there'll be 20 new Iron Man designs in the next 3 years anyway, all of which will be better due to toy technology improving.
>>5910136
It was revised to have the shell coverings, as they're actually screen-accurate.
By all accounts it's an astonishing figure, I'd keep the preorder.
> buy toy
> toy has defect
> contact blufin customer support and get replacement arranged
> takes months
> pay for shipping (live outside the states, but choose USPS because it's cheaper)
> they fuck it up and send it to the wrong person
> Ok
> Takes another couple weeks and they get it back from him and send it to me via Fedex
> month later, Fedex invoice for a shiton of Duty & tax fees
> contact bluefin and ask if they will take care of it
> "yeah sure"
> Months later
> Final payment reminder from Fedex, threatening to send third party collection agency after me
Is there a more shit company than bluefin?

THIS IS NOT AN ACTUAL THREAD FOR IT. IT'S ONLY SEPTEMBER, I'M NOT A RETARD.
But I am curious. Would there be any sort of interest for one this year? I know that last year ended up being a shitstorm, but for the most part people got their gifts.
What do you think, should we have one this year? Are there any things that should be changed from last year? I know there was some talk for making it Amazon-only, but I personally think that traditional list could stay as an alternative. You could get grinched just the same with Amazon.
If there is enough interest, I'll make a proper thread and all for it late October/early November and organize it.
>>5909545
>I know that last year ended up being a shitstorm
Every year is like that
I feel those saying otherwise are the ones that didn't get burned
We will have one this year as always
A big chuck of this board has few friends and loved ones(if any) so these types of activities help stave off the lonely feels.
As for organize it you'll need to have a trip and email going and be ready for the load it brings, if anything goes wrong, it's on you, that's why Amazon only is tossed around, it makes the nightmare managing it much easier.
The big thing you have to watch is those that will ruin the fun, and that you will always have a lot of them, some are just greedy/poor and want shit they can't buy themselves others just want /toy/ to be a bad place and while manageable you can't 100% eliminate the problem.
I got hundred dollar spread two years ago and screwed over(maybe by the mailman) last year, so I averaged out to two successful years.
I'm down.
But I say we should run a /co/-style Amazon wishlist thread alongside it for people that don't want to commit.
>>5909551
I know what it entails. But as of now, I'm just curious if there's any interest. And if someone makes a proper thread before me, then so be it. I'll participate either way.
thinking about selling these , any ideas what I will get for them

I don't understand how Diamond can put out some of the faces they do and think it's okay.
They can do some really good work, but wow.
Blow up doll Bill Murray just seems like an odd choice.

Egon and Ray we're pretty good for the original 4, winston and peter we're kinda meh but they seem to be getting worse. Unfortunately they're pretty much the best we have for 1/12ish unless figuarts makes some.

Any of the NECA ones. The Part 6 one was great, but I think is hard to find now.

Oh c'mon! The Zelf shills at least posted commentary and had fake conversations. Get on Zelf level.
