Assuming 'magic' means that it won't break, then very, very dangerous. You're effectively delivering all the force of your blow to an area one micron wide, which would be very bad indeed. That said, it wouldn't carry anywhere near as much weight as a real sword, so the actual force of the blow would be less; you might therefore struggle to cut through anything very thick because the blade would gain ~0 momentum.

Basically, it would work much better as a cheesewire than a sword, but it'd still be pretty nasty in certain situations.

Nothing. I do not feel excitement for campaigns, only despair. Because I know I can't find anyone to play, much less run them.

I have a regular Shadowrun group and the small games we've been playing are growing into a full campaign.

I'm not sure exactly where it is going but I'm excited to run it.

Nothing. My group finally died and I'm totally burnt out on crunchy games. I want something like Shadows of Esteren or L5R but I found no games on Roll20 and that's the only thing I know of. So I guess I'm just not going to play anything for a while.

My campaigns tend to be pretty specific. My favorite so far is

I start a campaign by running 3 self-contained adventures to make sure everyone has stable schedules and to put down some groundwork.

Trying to save friend from a weird rehab facility run by tick-people. We thought the pregnant nurse at the door was okay, turns out she'd just recently fed. Sold us out, I got latched with two or three of their 'spawn' and sent out into the world. Walked in front of a semi on the interstate just to end it rather than die drained, insane, and being an incubator for tick-people.

I'm curious. Just how busted can you make a Betrothed avowed as compared to a standard eidolon or standard avowed.

compared to a summoner, its probably about.. 50% stronger? Less versatile but its a lot tougher and has a fuckton more damage.

imo Magic is too goddamn expensive nowadays. Unless you have a lgs that hosts events regularly, I don't think it's worth getting into it. Even if your plan is to only play casually with friends, you're better off just using proxies.

Unless you're going to play once or more a week, it's not worth it. There are other cheaper TCGs that are still fun, and have active communities in a decent number of places. There are ways to try out Magic online - Magic: Arena is coming out soon, and it's essentially Magic with Hearthstone's business moel.
