Finally, I have finished.
JUGGERNAUT is a loose adaptation of the Stars Without Number role playing game (contains a number of other mechanics) designed for playing in a late 1800s/early 1900s setting. It can be described as historical or dieselpunk.
It also contains two optional chapters, one for magic and one for super science, depending on how dieselpunk or historically accurate or fantastical you want to go.
I've made this document because, up until this point, I have found absolutely no good roleplaying systems for one of the most interesting and dramatic times in history--the era leading up to and including the Great War. Some stuff came close, but didn't quite match. I present to you a modular, adaptable system for a broad variety of campaigns in this setting.
I will post the document in 2 parts (too large for /tg/). The second part doesn't have bookmarks because of reasons due to my pdf editor. However, I also have a link to the entire document on google drive, which, if downloaded, is fully bookmarked.

I tend to dislike really generic dwarf/elf/hobbit/orc style fantasy races, but at the same time I really like elves. I think a fantasy setting with totally weird and unique races, as well as humans, as well as elves, is totally fine.
Is that weird? Am I weird?

I grew up playing games like shining force, so I usually included a few other races into my D&D games (centaurs, beast people, fucking robots) then the furrys came and killed all the fun by turning it all into a fetish.

I want to take a moment to talk to WHFB players. Why do you play anymore? After the End Times and Age of Sigmar, what made you stay? I think back to the first time I saw some guy pretend to ride a horse just to play the game. I just left and couldn't watch anymore. What made you stay through such degradation? That was the most flagrant humiliation I have ever seen. There are people into BDSM who thought that that was too far. After a company treats you like a pack of mouthbreathing retards and mental defectives, why did you stay and put up with that?
It's the equivalent of being in prison, while Bubba (GW) comes over and smacks the soap out of your hands and says pick it up and you gleefully do it. Why? Is it a fetish for being used like the sugardaddy stuff? Is it having no life?
I don't understand. But after such flagrant and unabashed humiliation and GW showing what they thought of you; what made you go on to still play?

What do you do with a passive party?
I'm trying to GM a game for a bunch of players who won't do ANYTHING unless prompted to. I feel like I'm constantly railroading them, but otherwise they'll just stand around and not do shit.
If the mentor-NPC is obviously wrong about something, nobody corrects him. Weird shit goes uninvestigated. One character was literally freely sitting in another room while her father was getting brutally tortured, without making an attempt to interrupt, and the girl's a lawful good for fuck's sake.
The players have complained that I take too much control over the game, and I'd be glad to improvise based on their actions, but THEY DON'T DO ANYTHING.
What can you do to help that?

Group is coming back together after a couple months off for real life intrusions. Having trouble getting a consensus on game. Would like your thoughts. I am Forever GM because everyone is a slacker.
1. Shadowrun. This is our usual fare and everyone is well acquainted with it, but people have had some bad feels the past couple months and I think some want something cheerier. Then again, this group thrives on this game by and large.
2. Numenera. Really enjoying the monkeys-around-the-black-monolith experience in the two sessions we've tried it out. I'm deeply intimidated by how sandboxy it is, though, and I hope I have the creativity to keep it all fresh.
3. Exalted 3e. These guys have never played Exalted but I loved the setting when I played it in the 2e era with a different group.
4. Blue Rose AGE. One of the group pretty much grew up reading Lackey and Pierce and is totally stoked. I mostly just love the watercolor art and the focus on using your damn head instead of combat; I think McCaffrey's Pern series is as close as I got into that vein of fantasy.
5. Baroque Space Opera. I definitely dig the Dune/Stargate vibe it's got going on but I know fuck all about Fate.

As for Space Opera, I've heard good things about Traveler, and I know Stars Without Numbers is pretty rules-lite.

Space opera, Stars Without Number is a pretty good system. Last game I ran of that I binge watched Firefly while writing the campaign and it was a blast for all hands.

Also are regular Spacies really tougher than Death Guard? Great Unclean Ones are like fucking black holes for bullets.

No. But the chapter suffered over 90% losses in the Third War for Armageddon. As Fist successors they're a pretty strong candidate to receive Primaris reinforcements honestly.

"Great" is a stretch. He's an ACCEPTABLE blink target. The reason it was so good in Standard was because just juking a single removal spell with Restoration Angel was backbreaking- they thought they were dropping 2 damage off your board, but you ended up getting 6 more, and 5 life to boot. And it was great in multiples.
There's a reason it became a 2 dollar card when it rotated- it's just not that good in other formats. It's too expensive and slow for Modern and Legacy, and it's too non-impactful for Commander. There's way better blink targets.
