Mace and dagger are weaksauce. Rapier's a way better 1v1 weapon due to fencing parries and being able to go for the eyes/armor chinks up to two yards away. That outreaches any one-handed mace or dagger. Not to mention that fencing parry means you're able to riposte to impart massive defense penalties.

well, what i was thinking is that you would lock the opponents weapon between a dagger's v-shaped crossguard and hit their head with the mace. thanks for the replies anyway.

What part appeals most to you? The gothic or the punk? Ie, the part where these selfish monsters plot against each other as they fight against their darker nature, or the part where these crazy bastards tear it up fighting against even weirder things in the night? Both are valid approaches (and you can definitely swap them around in the same campaign), but it's good to have an idea of the kind of things you like to focus on.

Depends, I have commissioned 2 arts for my Pathfinder character.

This is him on early levels, old armor but still functional. No polish on it but enough to get in combat.

Reflects a bit of the character personality of no finesse.
