Does Guilliman know about those "ork snipers" yet?

Do you think any of the Inquisitions shenannigans are going to be addressed soon?

I'm sure the space wolves would love to have a chat with him too.

No. But the chapter suffered over 90% losses in the Third War for Armageddon. As Fist successors they're a pretty strong candidate to receive Primaris reinforcements honestly.
>>

I doubt he's going to scoure the Inquisition but it would be interesting to see how a conflict between the Inquisition and Girlyman plays out with Greyfax totally in his court.

wow big surprise. they never stop do they?
>>
>>53294814

That depends on how long it's been since Armaggedon III and the current time of the setting.

Helbrecht made Ekene take the oath of Chapter master, gave him one of his swag armor suits and sent him back to Elysium with a few Black Templars and Grimaldus' apprentince to go rebuild.
>>
>>53294913
Unless they changed it I think it's only been two years or so. A3 is 998 and 13th BC is 999.

>>53294345
GSIII he basically said "Everything bad about the Imperium is chaos' fault! Let's go fuck them up."

If you're hoping he's going to tear down the Inquisition and Imperial Cult, you'll probably be waiting quite a while.

Some factions will jump to his side and some factions will drag their feet or quietly work against him. They've always been rather fractured.

I'm curious as to how this kind of situation would be handled without just folding them into another chapter.

Yeah, some people don't seem to understand that the Inquisition is among the most decentralized, divided factions in 40k, probably only behind Chaos and Orks. What one Inquisitor does has rarely has any reflection on what another does, even if they operate in the same sector.

There will probably be cases of Inquisitors going "rogue" because they doubt that it's the real Guilliman, or even just fear that their power will be taken from them. But there will likely be just as many, if not more, cases of Inquisitors immediately signing up with Guilliman because he's one of the Primarchs, and/or see him as the best chance the Imperium has.
>>
>>53298262
Well, you also have ones like Quixos, and it's kind of hard to say exactly what was going through his head.

As for the Inquisition, unless things have changed one of the reasons they exist is because the Primarchs said "deal with it" to the rest of the High Lords and rammed them down their throats. So presumably they recognize their reason for existing, even if they don't like their methods in general.

At worst I can see him telling them they gotta split up into separate Chapters, but more likely he'll turn a blind eye to it, and probably task them with some of the heavier war zones since they can take the attrition.

This action horrified the Celestial Lions who proceeded to condemn the Inquisitor. Captain Saul had attempted to halt the bombardment, but could not counter-order an Inquisitor. From then on, the Celestial Lions were highly vocal against the Inquisition, believing it had been unnecessary to destroy the planet. They sent a series of very loud and public condemnations against the Inquisition in general. A delegation of senior Chapter officers left for Terra to further their cause, but the ship never arrived.

Some Lord inquisitor walks up to girlyman and not only brings up horus, his brother, and all the fresh feelings of the heresy. (Girlyman has been sleeping this whole time) He goes even further and actually compares gulliman to horus to his face.

If anyone in the imperium would be stupid enough to do that, it would HAVE to be an inquisitor.

By the way, how is gulliman cool with the Imperial cult at all. He founded second us to uphold the emperors secular truth. Fucking GW can't write consistently.

>Both Vulkan and Guilliman react to finding out about them by going 'Bah! What is this?' and generally disliking it.
Because GW either doesn't know their own fluff, or are catering to the fags who don't and want the Primarchs to give the Ecclisiarchy what-fer and project on.

From the 7e rulebook, as every rulebook. In about a thousand years from the HH, the Ecclisiarchy had destroyed or assimilated every single rival cult in the Imperium to become the state religion. A process like that doesn't happen overnight, and I find it hard to believe Guilliman wasn't around for at least the beginnings of its campaigns.

>>

If they honestly, truly, had no clue the cult had taken over when it was alive and growing while being actively prosecuted, and then grew fast enough for cults to take fighting, and one to take over an entire galaxy of feuding cults inside of 1000 years.

Then I have no idea how such blind people conquered the galaxy, let alone prevented a total collapse after the HH.

But I guess that's GW for you. "40k has a solid canon determined by the whims of the last writer to release something :^)"
>>
>>53304938
Wouldn't surprise me, it isn't like GW fluff doesn't get that dumb at times.
>>
>>53304985
Personally I just ignore Guilliman being surprised by the cult, and more repulsed by what the Administratum's become in addition to the excesses of the Imperial Cult. INB4 IGNORING FLUFF REEEE.

I also like to think one of the High Lords removed was a fatass Ecclisiarch and Guilliman's hand chosen successor was someone with a bit more humility.
>>
>>53305019
Sure but by the same logic I could just ignore Primarchs exist and decide Guilliman's a collection of sentient mice pretending to be the Emperor.

Nothing wrong with it, just obviously not much point discussing fluff then.
>>
>>53305070
Sure, nothing stops you from making a Reductio ad Absurdum.
>>
>>53305122
Exactly. If you ignore some fluff you open the door to anyone choosing what to ignore and what not to ignore.
>>
>>53305141
And that's their business. I don't agree that it means there's no point to discussing fluff when I have a lot of fun discussing with friends who don't agree with me on everything.

Every single one of my beliefs are based on fluff GW has written, even if they don't still follow it, and I can say the same for my friends so don't worry, there; you won't find primarch deniers among us.

But naturally this is the internet, so if someone does things different, you end up like the past 3 days of /tg/. I sometimes wonder if it's an extension of the ridiculous polarization occurring everywhere else in society right now.

there is literally no way to take anything of the fluff of HH and after seriously without being selective. selective as in "HH books were never writen"

fluff conflicts with itself more often than it corporates

It would happen fairly fast mate. Remember that God just deleted the Devil and it's all true. It's not like our religions.
>>
>>53305281
It wasn't fast though. The Ecclisiarchy was founded by a veteran of the Horus Heresy. It literally did take them a millennia to take over the Imperium's spirituality. Of course, that's ancient fluff because the Sisters of Battle never get updated. But so far, nothing's emerged to contradict it. Probably because sisters never get updated.

>fucking furrys

You've been huffing too many memes. They are still Vikings, they have been forever. The furry thing is just shitposting.

Fair point lad

>>53305428
it absolutely is not a meme. i know the fluff just fine

they are LITERALLY furries since they have WOLF dna in them and slowly turn into WOLVE

also they freaked out when a few priests suggested they could take out the wolf dna. its something they cherish and love

>>53305469
The curse of the wulfen has been there forever though. And the space wolves see it as a bad thing.

> They are still Vikings
No, they are wolves. Led by wolf lords and the wolf guard riding wolves and chariots pulled by wolves bedecked in wolf charms and wolf totems made by the wolf priests.

>Clearly doesn't know about the Cult taking power in it I think its safe to say that none of the Primarchs knew about it.

Most of the Primarchs kinda fucked off and did their own thing after the Heresy, and didn't really pay much attention to the goings on back on Terra very much. Busy dealing with the Traitor primarchs/running off to the Warp for 'reasons'/Chasing DEldar into the Webay, that sort of thing.

I do remember when Vulkan came back to help against the Beast's WAAAGH! back in M32 he was not happy about the existence of the Eccleisarchy, which if my dates are right, gained its permanent seat among the High Lords roughly 40 years prior to the War of the Beast, which started in 544.M32.

Shame he got killed by the Beast though, he'd have made a better leader than our current "spiritual liege" ever could (well, a more inspiring, less heretical one anyway).

Theres an almost 100% chance Sharks won't have primaris fluffwise.

I'm pretty sure they are in the dark imperium and even if they aren't they predate the codex astartes and don't even have any contact with the rest of the Imperium outside of showing up in major wars and ruining it for everyone.

This. If someone can give me a source, even an old one that's contradict it, I'll generally accept their view as valid. Because then you can debate on why your views are better (subjectively) and maybe come away a better person. But as this anon also mentioned, that's pretty much just practical in reality. In internet praticality, any kind of discussion that introduces nuance and/or subjectivity, just ends in ad hominems and Godwin's Law.
