WTF, I love Hyundai now!
>>17534416
Looks like a Focus fucked a Impreza.
can't wait for the korean era
hyundai supercar when?
>>17534437
I'm kinda scared how these cyborgs will look at 50.
All these modifications must take a toll in the long run.
Poor things.
Did cash for clunkers ruin the used car market?
no, safety and emissions regulations did
yes
>>17530274
cash and clunkers did you libtard dipshit.
Not anymore it was 10 years ago scraping 15 years old cars back then.
The Mitsubishi Starion was the coolest looking
Japanese car of the 80's. Prove me wrong, pro-tip, you can't.
I 100% agree. Shame about the engine. How do these handle? I'd love a 4g63t swapped one.
>>17526850
Ah the Starion, one of the most criminally underrated cars of the 80's, it's a shame that it had the beautiful Japanese sleek design but had the reliability of a typical American car meaning the engines blew at around 80k mile mark, hint hint Chrysler...
>>17526857
Most people end up engine swapping them, they handle pretty decently, a bit heavier than your typical 80's car.
>2017
>still scared to buy american
>he wants an offroad vehicle and/or truck
>he buys japanese
just please, don't do this
whats even worse are people who buy subaru's and plan on "going offroad" with them
i guess i should use this thread to explain common mistakes that idiots make when purchasing a vehicle they plan on adventuring with....
>>17524777
Tell America that I want an offroad capable vehicle that I can depend on to get me in and out of where I want to go, then I'll think about it.
toyotas are good offroaders
>clutch in

>buckle seatbelt
>hazard lights come on
>use blinkers
>door rattle
>turn on rear window defogger
>radio cuts to static
This seriously happens in my mates' E46. No idea why.
Anyone else running ITBs in their NSX? I need to find a tuning setting... Thanks
most of the board is running ITBs on their NSX, lol, welcome to 2000 and late
>>17542448
Most people on /o/ ride bicycles. Some have upgraded to mopeds. And you're asking about near-supercars?
>>17542526
Oops. I guess I'm better off asking nsxprime... Not a lot of people run itbs. I guess I was trying to be lucky
>the former head of BMWs M division of 30 years is now head of Hyundais handpicked division
>Hyundai is the only car manufacturer that makes its own steel, they can afford to put higher quality steel in their cars
How long until the Koreans rule the car world?
How long until the M badge is on lawnmowers?
They already do, the Hyundai Genesis TT V6 is amazing piece of engineering
>>17542397
What if the car world isn't worth ruling? What if everything is an appliance with a pedestrian-safe front end and fastback design for mpg? Who cares how something drives if it looks like shit?
A local toyota dealership is selling an 06 corolla with only 55k miles on it.
There must be some sort of catch, right?. The carproof came out clean.
Just poop
>>17542018
It's nothing new I seen 90s car with less then 20k mile before. Most of time it's owned by old or people who don't drive much
yeah they sell it for like 3-5k over what it's actually worth.
It's a massed produced economy car probably from some old dead person.
Let me give you an example. So if you buy a new pair of headlights for a car like a ford focus. It will cost about $140. On a Porsche a new pair of headlights will cost over $1500. So yeah they are huge money pits, like any European luxury vehicle.
>Im poor
what we all read
>>17541514
You'll find that many of the richest, self made people are actually very cheap.
Especially the Jewish ones.
ebook on amazon "I got rich by being cheap"
I found a 2013 Camaro for only $1500. Is this repairable?
https://fresno.craigslist.org/cto/d/chevrolet-camaro-lt/6194350786.html
>engine is good.
that car is fucking destroyed
youd have to spend half a decade and the price of the car brand new to fix that shit
>>17540788
>needs body work
I imagine theres WAY more wrong with it. I can totally see you picking up this 1500 dollar scrapyard-ready piece of shit and you're gonna learn that oh fuck the drive shaft is bent, or the tranny is fucked or something is so out of wack you're gonna dump some 20000 dollars into it and all this time and labor and you're gonna still be fucked.
>be leaving store and walking out to parking lot
>come up to your parking spot and find this
what do you do, /o/?
Look on the the next parking lanes behind because more than likely I'm at wrong part of the parking lot lol
>Cars either side of my parking space
>implying I don't park in the furthest point to keep other cunts away
>>17540715
I have a shit short-term memory so this happens all the time. I just wander around until I spot my car.
>swings car door open
>hits the side of your car
"Oops! Sorry!"
>walks away

>receive fat insurance check and ruined her life
What are your road-rage stories?
Hit and run?
Justice served?
>>17540480
I was with my dad when I was little and he threw a can at some rich guy in a convertible Porsche because the Porsche kept cutting him off.
I knocked off somebody's mirror last year. I just kept driving.
>>17540480
This one time this guy was driving like a totql piece of shit. I ignored it likr a levele headed human bean.
Do you put your two new tires in the front or the rear?
>>17540398
New tires always go to the rear, even if it's a FWD car.
I always put the better ones in the front for maximum dorifto.
I also have the fronts at ~4psi lower than the rears for the same reason.
My fronts and rears are different sizes.
I'm either buying two fronts or two rears here.
>had to rev up to 12k rpms just to make 240hp
That's fucking sad
It's NA and 1.6L, what the fuck do you want
You're missing something here. It's called gearing. An 11000 rpm redline lets you run crazy low gearing.
>>17540278
TRD 20V's were made for the formula atlantic series.
