I was driving past one of these going about 10 above the limit. It flashed twice at me. Should I be worried about getting a ticket?
>>17525615
Really? Is it just a scare thing?
>>17525611
Nope. I like speeding past them and seeing how high they read. The 50 ones here only go up to 65.
doesn't matter if willingly or by accident
I wasn't driving, but the car I was in flew about 20 or so feet up, I remember the car hitting branches and leaves, after jumping out of the ditch and just before landing and flipping however many times - I lost consciousness after the third flip.
>>17523072
A couple inches at 140km/h in my shitbox. Used to hit 1'+ ers in my Blazer S10 every day. Hit a ditch at 140km/h in a grand prix and got quite a bit. The car was fine.
not high cause I'm dumb and try to correct my steering while in the air
Daily reminder that gm has never made a more powerful forced induction production v8 than the 5.8L supercharged V8 in the Ford Shelby GT500.
Aww look and the Ford fanboy trying to act tough. Ain't it cute?
>>17520430
Slower than a ecoboost mustang
>>17520464
No no no :^)
*thud*
Oops, hehe, sorry.
This has happened three times while I've been sitting in the car in plain view. Some idiot with a shitbox truck who doesn't care about his own car. Some Asian guy. Some other idiot.

Ladies and gentlemen, the all-new.
2018 Jaguar E-Pace
2.0-liter I4 good for 246 horsepower.
Or the E-Pace R-Dynamic2.0-liter I4, but it puts out 296 horsepower, $38,600/$50,050
Can also do Barrel a Roll .

God I love jaguar no other car company would do a commercial like that they'd just go on about how great the 49inch touchscreen or is how great their 5,000lb land barge is.
Designed in the UK, built in Austria
Jaguar will rely on Austrian engineering and manufacturing specialist Magna Steyr for E-Pace production. Magna will also build the I-Pace electric utility vehicle starting in 2018.

Rotary or not, is there any chance of a new performance car from Mazda?
I would say there's a chance the Miata Money will pile up enough for an investment
Only in a hybrid system because wankel emissions can't compete, and in a hybrid it defeats the point of a wankel.
>tfw no Mazda rotary motorcycle ever even though going being light, reving to 12k rpm and having no torque is exactly a key feature of motorcycles

Tell me how retarded I am for seriously thinking about calling and seeing this guy would trade my mistake for his s13
My miata*
>>17533120
The s13 is a more practical miata that doesn't leak. As long as it's not a pos do it. Better aftermarket as well.
Only if you un-rice it. I want you to own the worlds only stock 90's Nissan
Hey /o/, need advice with buying my first car, I'm looking for something that is:
-cheap to buy / upkeep
-cool to own / fun to drive
-relatively small
Generally speaking looking for small coupes (or hatchbacks) that would be fun to have and wouldn't require lots of money or mechanical knowledge to keep in decent shape.
Now the thing is I live in Poland so the sticky and usual responses may not be really applicable.
I'm prepared to pay up to 10k PLN (around 2.7k USD - says google), but obviously the cheaper - the better, and honestly as a first car I would obviously prefer something as cheap as possible.
tl;dr - Looking for a fun and cheap first car in Poland, up to 10k PLN (~2.7k USD).
Give me some suggestions with any additional comments you might have and I will check around for prices in my area and consider anything I find interesting.
Anybody?
The cars I've been thinking about include the likes of Miats, Honda Prelude, Civic, Huyndai Coupe, BMW 3, Toyota Celica, MRS and such, but since I have almost no real world experience with cars I have no idea if any of those would be any good for me.
>>17533076
1999-2004 mustang sounds like what your looking for just make sure you get the GT
>>17533134
>Mustang
>in Poland
>implying it's a small and cheap car
thanks for nothing bruh
>affordable at *only* 200k
>very reliable by supercar standards
>more sales than any other supercar with 3000 units a year (better than the GT-R)
>demolished the Nurburgring record
>even has a cheap RWD model for purists
It also has an NA V10 instead of more fucking turbos like everything else today, but that's more of a subjective thing.
>>17532982
Is it faster than the GT3? Same cost pretty much. I'd probably go with a porche instead of that meme looking thing.
>>17532982
Only 200k? Lmao when will the poor fags learn, if you drive a car worth less than 500k girls will literally laugh at you
I love the Huracan but...
>Affordable at only 200k
R8 is cheaper and basically the same
>Very reliable by Suprcars standards
R8 doesn't suffer from Italian issues though it probably is just as bad
>Most sold supercar
Can't argue here
>Demolished Nurb record
Using special tires
>Even has RWD model for purists
Can't argue here
I'd say it's be more like a tie between the R8 and the Huracan.
I was watching stranger things and this mustang came on screen.
Those wheels in 1982? Wtf????
>>17532915
whats the problem
>>17532950
Wouldn't have existed back then.
A car like this looks like it's from the 2000's.
They kind of look like cragers, which have been around since the late 60s.
Stop being new.
>4 lug wheels
>>17532830
>three lug
>half assed threads where you make fun of irrelevant shit on cars you'll never own bc youre too autistic to talk to another person irl so youll never have an education, job, or chance to actually develop an opinion about anything
Why would anyone care about whether a car has 4 or 5 lugs?
What's strongest phone holder magnet combo on the market. for a car
I want one that still has a strong hold through a not too thick you case
if possible I don't want the magnetic plate to be stuck on the outsode
what other ideas do you have that aren't too bulky and shit.
maybe something that just sticks into the vent?
>>17532658
Magnets and flash storage or media storage devices don't mix
>>17532658
>not getting one with wireless charging.
Seriously though it's 2017, where will applecucks catch up with the greatest addition to cell phones ever?
Check proclipusa.com. They do custom mounts for specific cars and your phone model. Sort of pricey, but worth it considering how shit vent and magnet holders are. The proclip stuff slides in between trim pieces usually.
How do you guys not get ass raped by insurance? I'm 19 and buying an s15 spec r. Buying it for around $16k (thats the listing, probably will be able to haggle). Insurance companies have a maximum cover amount for it of $13k. Minimum $2k deductible. I've been quoted between 3.5k and 4.5k/year to get comprehensive insurance.
My only option is to get it under my dad's name and pay $1.7k/year for comprehensive but that's still a fucking scam desu. You can get yourself into much more danger with a v8 but insurance for these is much higher.
