A guy wants to sell me a 2013 WRX with a clean carfax, clean VHR, full maintenance records for 20k. Should I? It has 54k miles
>driving a literal faggot car
>>17179274
b-but with a f-few simple mods

Any subi made after 2004 isn't a real WRX sti
Alright guys. I'm about to get my first real job(65k+ a year). What car should I buy? I'm torn between an 2009 ZO6, a 2003-5 Viper, or a 2015 BMW M3/M4/M5/M6. Budget about 50k. What do you guys think? I currently own a BMW 335xi E90 thats tuned. I love it, so Im leaning towards the BMW, especially because they have 4 seats min.

That is what I'm leaning towards.

Hey /o/ my 2000 buick lesabre got raped by a hail storm this week. I'd say at least 150 small dents on the hood, roof, hatch, doors, fenders and even A pillar/roof structure. How do I even begin to get this fixed? I don't want to get rid of the car - otherwise in great shape and at 91,000 miles.
> pic related is about as dense as my damage
It's totaled. To repaint new panels will cost more than it's worth.
>>17178416
Yeah, this will cost a fortune to fix. What are you going to do, replace every body panel on your 200 LeSabre? Just drive it.
>>17178402
>even A pillar/roof structure
Also this is not repairable since it's not a panel. You would need actual body work to fix these and that's definitely more expensive than the car.
If you didn't have insurance for hail you're shit out of luck. sorry bro.

The Viper ACR's tires are 220TW for comparison, because they actually want you to be able to track it all day. Tires like these just seem to be for getting ebin Burgerking times, not mattering if they sacrifice themselves to set a lap record.
>>17177375
>The Viper ACR's tires are 220TW for comparison
But the ones they used for the laptimes were 20tw.
Assmad BMW fanbois pls leave

Only 4 seconds faster than a Civic.
>sister and brother-in-law moved to Japan
>she got a Mazda MPV
>he got a fucking R32
I am so fucking jealous!
>moving to Japan
I've seen R23s in highschool parking lots in Canada, they used to be dirt cheap until you Americans drove up prices
>>17177211
Boring. Tell him to get something different
>>17177253
First of all
R32
Second of all, r32 doesn't mean GTR
You can get a basemodel 4 door auto for 1-2k in ausfagland and here cars are fucking expensive.
Should I take the wing off of my 2017 STI?
I just ordered one and I like the look either way, but I'm still in the dating scene and I don't want my dates to look at me like I'm some kind of manchild. Also, the spoiler is a cop magnet.
What do, /o/?
>2017 STI
Looks like shit either way, as for attracting girls p sure the wing is a plus, either she won't notice at all or will be "into cars" and think it's "badass"
>>17177174
buy a side civic and roll that instead
>>17177174
So you would rather have her think you drive a camry?
I know playing problem diagnosis over the Internet is stupid but hear me out and at least see if I'm on the right track
>start car with no issue other day
>try to start today
>turns over as it should
>let off and pump gas
>turn key again
>nothing
>charge battery and check connections still nothing
>lights come on bright so I know battery is up
It has to be the starter right? I don't get a thing from turning the key, no clicks or anything. It's an old as fuck car so can't be computer issues.
Well if your battery isn't dying in a matter of hours, and you don't hear a constant clicking when trying to start the car then it's a ignition or fuel pump issue.
Well fuck. Would fuel pump cause nothing to happen when I turn the key though? I can see that stopping it from starting, but not from not turning over at all.
>>17177148
What make/model?
Is it an 80'-90's ford?
Do any accessories that only work in ignition "on" position function?
I'm thinking about getting these rims in white for this car, what do you guys think? My car is the same year and color as this one.
Looks like shit
>>17177102
Ricey and stance faggy
Get something with like 5 solid spokes.
I prefer SSR MS1 if you're going for that look. And that car is way too low with too high offset. Get something more usable.
Tfw you realized no matter how fast your car is there's always another asshole with a better and faster car than you.
Do you know what a catch 22 is?
>>17176573
catch-22
noun
a dilemma or difficult circumstance from which there is no escape because of mutually conflicting or dependent conditions.

I am trading in my 2007 saturn ion for a new vehicle.
I'm currently searching for perhaps sedans and looking at at max 380/month 4%apr and want help identifying cars that would realistically fit within the financing for up to 5 years worth payments. credit is mid 625
purpose:
get me there
comfy
Music whore
insurance friendly
mechanic friendly when warranty goes away
what would /o/ recommend?
3k civic
>financing a car
>ever
why
>>17176198
over the past few months of spending hundreds to keep this shit on the road is more expensive in the short term than financing. month to month expenses considered i find it cheaper than keeping my saturn

I now realize why sportbike riders hate cruiser pirates.
You're both posers, but only one is fast.
You shame and disrespect us all with this cruel representation of motorcyclists, OP.
Shame. Shame on you. A pox on any Ural rider. I hope a fucking Ural rider passes you on the highway and drops a musketball from his (her) pocket and it fucking blows out your fucking radiator, fucking nerd.
>>17176523
Everyone hates MCs. Everyone hates group wheelie sessions aka group rides with sportbikes.
Some people get confused and hate literally everyone on a bike that reminds then of one of those things unless it is their bike.
Can we get an ugly cars thread?

What are your thoughts on Uber driving, /o/?
>>17172471
It's okay. Nothing crazy or bad about it.
>>17172471
i hate cab drivers so its great
>>17172471
Uber is lame but I understand why people would choose it.
I guess you don't make a ton of money most times and if you actually wanted to drive people around you would get a chauffers license.
Epitome of lazy millenial employment.

how about them shitty ute conversions
I love goofy converted utes.
There's this swedish repair place/lot near me that usually has pic related parked out front. Seems the Volvo wagons are one of the more common conversions.
And let's not forget the "Smyth" kits for mk4 Jettas and 4-door Golfs... and now Chargers, apparently, with an Audi A4 kit on the way too. Damn.

>Condition: Good
kek
Would have made more sense to start with a sedan instead of a hatch. The 4 door has the B pillar mounted further forward with shorter front doors, which would allow for a longer bed. Plus, the sedan is the already the crappiest body for the 3g Accord, so there's less to ruin.
Why don't they just sell utes in the United states of US of A?

This was basically the E39 M5 for the modern day, the ideal enthusiast daily. Why did it fail?
>>17171571
because chevy threw no advertising at the thing whatsoever. Nobody knew it existed and those that saw one IRL at a dealer thought it was a FWD Malibu.
>>17171571
