Help

Well if your battery isn't dying in a matter of hours, and you don't hear a constant clicking when trying to start the car then it's a ignition or fuel pump issue.

Well fuck. Would fuel pump cause nothing to happen when I turn the key though? I can see that stopping it from starting, but not from not turning over at all.

What make/model?
Is it an 80'-90's ford?
Do any accessories that only work in ignition "on" position function?

Maybe it's the spark plugs?

It's a 1961 Chrysler, most of the accessories are broken anyway so I can't answer that.

and if it's not that more than likely a ignition issue
don't under stand why the fuel pump doesn't work though is it wired the the ignition sorry i'm really bad with wiring and such

maybe it's a simple as the key is broken as you said this happend before

If the battery has charge and your dash lights come on and you dont hear a click or any noise when you try to start its most likely the starter solonoid.
If memory serves, early chrystlers had the solonoid as a separate unit from the starter(my 65 coronet and 67 valiant did on the firewall near the brake master cylinder)

Washington state. GenX. Ive had probably 15 "classics" over the years
I grew up before the boomers ruined the classic market.
My first car in 86 was a 1970 chevelle SS 454 4spd
I currently have a 66 L72 impala ive had since high school in storage now.
Paid $1250 for it.
Boomers are starting to die off and a lot of these "no lowballers i know what i got" cars are getting passed down.
